I love the fact that companies are embracing AI much faster than what I remember from 30 years ago when the internet popped up. But at the same time, I see the same mistakes being made: focus on what's easy and popular in terms of technology rather than looking at the opportunities from a customer point of view. In other words: a ChatGPT-style chatbot is cool, but how about integrating AI into your core processes? Here too the technology is available, you just need to think 5 minutes longer and the value for the company and the customer jumps right at you. When you are making your AI roadmap, look beyond generative AI!
