#snsinstitutions, #sndesignthinkers #designthinking This year, I was assigned to monitor the Food Court duties along with two other faculty members. Our schedule is as follows: Morning: 8:50 to 9:10 AM Mid-morning break: 11:20 to 11:40AM Afternoon: 2:10 to 2:20 PM One challenging aspect of our duty is that we often need to urge students to finish eating quickly during the morning slot. Many students skip breakfast at home and rely on the Food Court, and some even skip classes to sit there. The three of us in charge gently remind them to eat quickly, encourage them not to miss class, and motivate them to arrive earlier. Our goal is to instill time management, promote early rising, encourage organizing things, and foster overall discipline. Compared to the first day, we have observed significant improvements.

🚀 Day 22 of 100 Days Challenge: Number of Students Unable to Eat Lunch #problem_statement The school cafeteria offers circular and square sandwiches at lunch break, referred to by numbers 0 and 1 respectively. All students stand in a queue. Each student either prefers square or circular sandwiches. #Solution_Approach: We first count the number of students with each sandwich preference (square or circular bread). Then, we iterate through the sandwiches and check if there are any students left with the same preference as the current sandwich. If no matching preference is available, we count the remaining unsatisfied students. Finally, we return the count of unsatisfied students.

What is Food Education? It is learning to see the world through the lens of food; a pathway to connecting the dots between the food we eat, our health, and the health of the planet. Join the #FoodEducation movement by supporting our work, learning more, and asking for hands-on cooking and nutrition lessons in your community schools, libraries and clinics. When we all know more, we all fare better. #Charliecartproject

Creating a structure at home can be a game-changer for our little ones. Here are four simple steps I've found helpful: 1️⃣ Make a consistent list of chores for your child—no strings attached! 2️⃣ Establish a routine: after meals, let them help with dishes or dinner prep. 3️⃣ Leave a list of age-appropriate chores for them to choose from. 4️⃣ Encourage them to cook for you—even if it’s a little messy, celebrate their effort! Empowering our kids not only helps them learn, but it also brings us closer together. 💖 Want to learn more about supporting your child in reading? Another leader recognises that if you don’t create equity in access to food, you do not create equity to performance in the classroom, and ultimately, achievement. Breakfast clubs in England will be a welcome and important start but we need to ensure we: - Educate young people on where their food comes from and how to put together a balanced diet (regardless of age, income level and location) - Tackle food inequity at all levels of education to ensure that the potential of our next generation is able to flourish. - Educate young people on families on how food can help with health. #HarperAdamsUniversity has established an independent Harper Commission which has this issue at its heart and we stand ready to work with governments across in #Britain #Scotland #Wales and #NorthernIreland to support them in making a significant difference to improving food knowledge among young people, and reducing food inequity. #togetherwewillmakethedifference Harper Adams University School of Sustainable Food and Farming @ Harper Adams University #foodsecurity #foodinequity #performance #potential #realisingpotential Jacqui Smith LEAF (Linking Environment And Farming) Viki Cooke Judith Batchelar OBE Stephen Kearney Rt. I don’t want any kid to be hungry in class. So, we’re creating a National School Food Program, just like the one Jessica and her classmates started.
