Key messages from the session with public sector infrastructure leaders: - the pipeline of work needs to be supported by funding and financing tools fit for scale and purpose - asset management is the key to understand the case for renewals and the need for new assets - once the need is established the Business Case and approval process should be much simpler - our public sector infrastructure professionals take their responsibility very seriously and are committed to finding good outcomes - finding the right solutions and value for money takes time, so spend that time planning, before jumping to announcements - some stuff we just need to get on with, like building safer roads and replacing aging facilities, so just get on with it already!
