Earlier this year, IGAD, with support from Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH, commissioned SkiQa Consulting Group Ltd to develop comprehensive Knowledge Management (KM) Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). This project aimed to foster acceptance and ownership of these procedures among all IGAD staff members across member states, integrating KM practices into the organization’s daily operations. SkiQa Consulting Group Ltd developed SOPs, in line with ISO 9001 standards as outlined in IGAD’s 2021-2025 KM Strategy. Our approach ensured effectiveness, efficiency, and consistency in capturing, creating, and documenting valuable knowledge within IGAD, enhancing overall knowledge access. We provided IGAD with SOPs that offer step-by-step instructions for specific KM tasks, aligned with ISO 30401:2018 and ISO 9001:2015 standards.
