We heard many such stories. We, Team Everest NGO, met 2000 children and asked them what they want. Some of the children told their wish. Some drew it. And, some acted it. 2000 wishes ready. Rough sleeping is the most visible and dangerous form of homelessness. Evidence shows that people sleeping on the street are almost 17 times more likely to be victims of violence. Our mission is to put an end to rough sleeping and support those experiencing homelessness into housing and independence. The threat to our funding is still uncertain, if we were to lose funding this would result in the closure of The Falcon Centre, our 30 bed hostel in Loughborough which prevents rough sleeping and provides the community with housing, community and recovery support through the drop in programme.
