What do we need to do to become an interplanetary civilisation? It starts with creating united and trusted small scale Communities on Planet Earth first. Once these trusted interconnected communities are formed, the sky is the limit, literally. We would have finally solved the fundamentals that have held our civilisation back. And they are scarcity, sickness, disunity, deception and secrecy. The Original Human was not designed to be sick. Human societies were not meant to struggle in poverty. Communities were meant to be close to nature, allowing for the health and well being of the human to flourish. Furthermore, harnessing the power of nature without destroying it in any way. A strong foundation is required in these areas in order to build for our future generations, which will allow us to shift to the next level of our civilisation. At the TTGD EcoSocieties, we are going back to the drawing board to make sure that societal frameworks are designed the way they should be. We have some of the best hearts and minds with us to make it happen. We are in it for the long haul. This is not just any project. This is a Legacy Project. All who have started the process of establishing their EcoSocieties are pioneers in facilitating the civilisation shift to happen. #ThroughTheGoldenDoor #EcoSocieties #CreatingSocietiesOfTrust #TruthAndIntegrity

#30DayMapChallenge Day 13 - A new tool - Lake Chad dynamics Subsaharan Africa is a dynamic space. It fluctuates between arid and wet season. Desertification of this space is deadly, because in this area lack of water can cost lives. Climate change might make it more arid. Quantity and quality of water determines if there is enough food produced for each season, if there are diseases and if there is unrest in society. This area is growing demographically - whole Africa's population might reach 2.5 billion by 2050 (from 1.4B today). Currently we face humanitarian conflict in this area. According to Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF): "Around 17 million people live in areas affected by violence resulting from the conflict between non-state armed groups and military forces in the Lake Chad region." Earth population! How much the population of the planet can increase?! in other words, What is the capacity of the planet to provide economy, environment and human security without collapsing? The global economy is tied to population growth. If the population stays the same or decreases, the economy will collapse with today's economic solutions. The environment has an inverse relationship with the increase in human population, because the capacity is not taken into account. Today, formerly undeveloped countries with billions of people are turning into developed countries that want to consume like them. People of rich countries consume much more than others, what will happen to the environment if all 10 billion people of the planet want to consume like countries . It is clear that for example the seas will be empty and will die. Some people say that we will make Mars inhabited. It will be very challenging and maybe 1 million people can be accommodated there in the next 100 years, while the planet will reach 10 billion in 2050 and its final capacity of earth! #Earth #Population #Mars

Polar caps are melting rapidly faster than scientists had predicted due to an undercurrent of heated water running underneath the polar ice…that coincidentally is called the Doomsday Iceberg. Rising sea levels and that could wash out coastal towns and cities - but we know this, right? Well, what you don’t know is that the planetary impact of humanity can be seen in the research that resulted in water redistribution causing the Earth’s axis of rotation to move. As well as carbon emissions causing shrinkage in the stratosphere. The melting of Antarctica and Greenland directly correlating to the impact on day length not only holds dire implications for time measurement but also for GPS and other technologies that dictate modern living. #ClimateCrisis #TheSocialTalks #News #GPS #GlobalDevelopment

🔔#DIGEST April 22, 2024 Part 2 Taiwan Hualien's Shoufeng Township hit by magnitude #5.9 earthquake. A total of 42 earthquakes of magnitude 4 or higher hit the central Hualien County townships of Shoufeng, Fenglin and Fengbin from 5:08 p.m. to 10:44 p.m., with 11 of them exceeding a magnitude of 5. Source Kazakhstan #flooding 13,000 summer houses have been flooded in Uralsk. The majority of them are located in the floodplain of the Ural River, where the water level continues to rise. As of today, it has exceeded the critical mark by 12 centimeters. Source In southern Kyrgyzstan, a powerful #mudflow has occurred. One fatality has been reported. Mudslides have also been reported in two other districts of Kyrgyzstan. The prolonged heavy rainfall is the cause of the mudslides. Source The International Labour Organization (ILO) reports that over 70% of the world’s workforce faces climate-related risks, leading to hundreds of thousands of deaths annually. Workers, especially the poorest, are more susceptible to extreme climate events like heatwaves, droughts, and hurricanes due to prolonged and intense exposure. According to the report, air pollution is the deadliest risk, causing approximately 860,000 work-related deaths annually, followed by heat-related deaths at 18,970 and UV radiation-related deaths from non-melanoma skin cancer at 18,960. Source Uganda #flooding At least 15,000 households in the northern Ugandan district of Dokolo have been displaced by floods following days of heavy rain. With global warming approaching 1.5°C, scientists predict that at least half of today’s #glaciers will disappear by 2100. That's why we're pleased that the 78th United Nations General Assembly has officially adopted the resolution on the Decade of Action for Cryospheric Sciences. The Decade (2025-2034) will put cryospheric sciences at the forefront of international priorities, accelerating and investing in research to better understand the functioning of the #cryosphere and the consequences of its collapse. #MountainsMatter #OurChangingMountains
We are delighted to announce that the resolution on the Decade of Action for Cryospheric Sciences has officially been adopted at the United Nations General Assembly today. 🇺🇳 Launched in the Paris Call for Glaciers and Poles endorsed at the #OnePlanetPolarSummit, the Decade 2025-2034 aims to put cryospheric sciences at the heart of next years’ international priorities. #Glaciers and #poles are the most severely impacted by climate change, while they play a crucial role in #climate regulation and #biodiversity preservation. It is essential to accelerate and invest in scientific research on the cryosphere as a whole, to understand better its functioning and the consequences of its collapse. These policies are central in order to enable societies to adap, and #ecosystems to be protected. We thank the Republic of Tajikistan for co-facilitating this resolution with France 🇹🇯🇫🇷, as well as all the States endorsing the Paris Call for Glaciers and Poles, along with UNESCO and World Meteorological Organization. France is looking forward to the official launch of the Decade in 2025. **Green Touch in the Barren Sahara!** Africa's vast desert is turning green! More trees and plants are growing in one of the world's driest regions, the Sahara Desert. Recently, NASA's satellite captured images showing greenery spreading across the desert, leaving scientists amazed. Normally known for its endless sand and dry lakes, Sahara now shows signs of green vegetation and filled-up lakes. This unexpected transformation is due to a tropical cyclone that hit the northwest part of the Sahara on September 7th and 8th, bringing heavy rain. This rain caused a "green explosion," according to scientists. From July to September each year, rain increases in parts of Africa north of the equator due to the monsoon. As the Earth gets warmer, this monsoon zone moves further north, bringing more rain to the Sahara than usual. Some places even experienced flooding, like Morocco and Algeria, which usually see very little rain. Scientists say that climate change, caused by the use of fossil fuels, is responsible for this shift. As the Earth warms, we may see even more greenery in the Sahara. In fact, researchers expect significant climate changes in the desert over the next few decades, leading to more plant growth. In some parts of Africa, farmers have been planting millions of trees over the past 30 years, helping to slow down the expansion of the Sahara desert. #SaharaGreen #ClimateChange #NASA #TropicalCyclone #SaharaDesert #DesertRain #GreenSahara
