WE LOVE GROWTH. Why? Because (say it with me if you know what comes next) if you are not moving forward, you are moving backward. We grow in all the ways, all the time, and we have no plans to slow down. We live in the present, of course. That is how we crush the work. But we also keep our eyes on the horizon. Always. I'm both proud and humbled to be part of this team. Eric Cup and I have known each other for [checks notes] a billion years, and have always respected each others work, so it didn't take much convincing when he called me in late 2021 and asked me to join the team with one overarching goal: GROWTH. That wouldn't have happened without the dedication of this team and their willingness not only to get into the rocket, but to design and build it as well. Are we doing everything right as we grow? Probably not, but we are also unafraid to make mistakes and learn from them. Are we having fun? Most of the time, yes. Interesting, varied, fulfilling. 2) What’s the most interesting thing you’re working on right now? Creating an arboretum for future generations. 🌱 3) Best thing about being part of the Structures Team? I feel that I am able to input old fashioned values. 4) Worst thing about being part of the Structures Team? Apart from navigating new biz ownership and ALL THE things that go with it, we’ve found that the many businesses we’ve met with and plan to meet with in the new year have people + talent problems outside of recruitment that we ACTUALLY have the power to help solve. Like getting the right eye balls on ad-copy and then the right people to apply is hard yakka. We know that first hand. But we also have a few good recipes up our sleeve that we reckon can help many businesses change the way they attract the right talent. Now is most definitely not the time to be talking about all of this. We get it. But next year? We’ll be ready and rearing to jump in and help solve things that you never imagined recruiters could fix. Imagine that!
