I enjoy the outdoors even if the vast wilderness is my tiny backyard! 🎸WHAT IS YOUR FAVORITE SONG OR MUSIC GENRE? My favorite song is “Still got the Blues” by Gary Moore. I dabble with the six string, and you can just get lost in this song with his raw talent and soul pouring out with every lick. My taste in music can’t be narrowed down to one genre. When listening to my mix, you could hear Etta James followed by Pantera and anything in between! 😃WHAT MAKES YOU HAPPY AT WORK? A good working environment with a positive culture and common goal to make things better. When you have a group of people from all walks of life coming together with the same mindset, applying their unique skills to the overall processes that make up the company and help it to prosper and improve. You asked, Garin answered. Lessons learned and projects underway after one year as Director:

I personally do not think it's worth it to do it faster only to do it wrong. This is the conversation I am having with my loved ones. They want to brush their teeth faster rather than cleaner. I always emphasize that the purpose of brushing teeth is to get it clean/er (thus getting rid of germ buildup). The purpose is not to brush teeth and get it over and done with. So in industry, we want to hit the ground running to get poor results, that's useless. I say, hit the ground and get it right. Watch the company culture that creates an environment where getting it right is spoken priority but the company philosophy is to get it done faster (not right), get it done, close the action ASAP. I don't think it helps...
