Communities need to reinvest in themselves and try to plan for growth. They can't just stay the same for 30 or 40 years because the infrastructure is aging, the population/demographics are changing, the needs of the residents and businesses change, technology and legislation is changing. Trying to stay the same by doing nothing while everything changes around you really just ends up with a community withering away. This short news clip is a good example of a community choosing not to invest in itself and plan for change, so unintended consequences and change are imposed on it, and the community has no control of those consequences because it chose to do nothing. https://lnkd.in/dEUNXEJd
