Reflecting on India’s Journey Towards Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) Despite significant strides in health and renewable energy, India's progress towards achieving the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) remains slow. With a expected timeline of 32 years for completion by 2062 instead of 2030, the urgency and challenges in attaining holistic sustainability are evident. This is not a politically motivated statement but a reflection of reality, underscored by critical indicators such as the Global Hunger Index, Human Development Index (HDI), and Multidimensional Poverty Index (MDPI). Global Hunger Index: India's ranking highlights the persistent issue of food insecurity and malnutrition. Human Development Index (HDI): Despite improvements, India's HDI reflects the need for significant advancements in education, health, and income. Multidimensional Poverty Index (MDPI): A large portion of the population still experiences poverty in multiple dimensions, from education to basic living standards. For those displaying SDG icons and logos on their LinkedIn banners without a deep understanding of the background scenario, it’s time to reassess. This is not a matter of pride but a call for introspection and informed action. Sharing misleading facts or superficial support for SDGs only undermines the gravity of these challenges. To all professionals, especially those in top consulting firms like MBB, let's commit to genuine efforts and informed contributions toward achieving these goals. Let’s use our platforms responsibly to drive meaningful change. #SustainableDevelopment #SDGs #mba #India #HolisticSustainability #RealChange #motivation #Action

India move to Green hydrogen based vehicles or hybrid version of them eliminate pollution and can reduce oil usage. Coming to health, need to use pesticide free food to prevent disease and use home grown organic seeding for food grains. Need have playgrounds in the school and mandatory classes for sports, meditation and health education.
