Got it. Canadian Armed Forces | Forces armées canadiennes is in deep trouble. Self-inflicted wounds at highest levels of leadership. Zero political support from either major party. Recruitment failing to fill ranks and retaining qualified and capable Armed Forces members difficult with promising opportunities out of uniform. So let's stop beating a dead horse and start working on solving the problem. There are no #SilverBullet solutions and miracles won't happen overnight. However #leadership with a big L, focus on people and not stopgap measures, acting on family support and reducing the handicap long term commitments demanded of personnel will all help to fix the problems. Our allies are also struggling with the same issues and in many cases have tried the same measures which failed in the past. Look at this generation and address their very real concerns or don't be surprised when they pass on joining the military. https://lnkd.in/gmwpRtW8
