Skilled programmatic leader and innovator who creates events and professional development opportunities for educators and administrators
Today’s Pre-Election Clinic workshop session with Jason Craige Harris began with an invitation to consider that we are all in pursuit of community. Jason shared a powerful quote by Charles Vogel: "I define a community as a group of individuals who share a mutual concern for one another. Community is about care, belonging, and the relationships that sustain us through the challenges of life. It is not just about proximity or shared interests, but about the bonds that form when people are committed to supporting each other." This insight is a profound reminder that community transcends physical spaces or common interests—it’s about the deep connections and relationships that sustain us. As AISNE (Association of Independent Schools in New England) moves through the first week of our 2024-2025 event programming, we are excited to gather 360+ attendees from 95+ schools across New England. Together, we will take time to become more deeply connected, continue to strengthen the bonds that define our AISNE community, and support one another through shared experiences and mutual care. Here’s to building a community where everyone belongs and is supported. #Community #AISNE #Belonging #Support #SharedExperiences #Education

As we celebrate Parents’ Day on July 28, we’re taking intentional time to recognize the caretaking journey — the challenges and joys, the teamwork and support, and the resilience and dedication involved in raising children. While no one is claiming that the role of a parent or caregiver is an easy one, it is an important one, shaping the lives of our children and our next generation. That’s why, though Room to Grow’s mission is to help children thrive from the start, a portion of our program’s content and support is targeted toward parents and caregivers with a two-generation, evidence-informed approach. And we know it works: ✨ 95% of families in our program report that Room to Grow helps them achieve their goals as parents ✨ 92% of parents in our program report that Room to Grow helps them reduce stress ✨ 87% of parents in our program report self-confidence in responding to challenges and opportunities Learn more about the research behind our approach and the impact we’re creating with it here: https://lnkd.in/d3EvbXn2
