Grease sprays, lubricating grease or other substances get in the way and make more of a mess than they help? Belts that clog quickly and the resulting built-up edges prevent your abrasive - whether belt or fibre disc - from doing what it does best: Grinding. They rub on your products, scratch the surfaces uncontrollably and have to be changed continuously. We have addressed all these problems and developed an additional layer for our abrasives that massively increases stock removal, banishes grinding grease from the workbench and also ensures plenty of stock removal. 💯Heiko Schaefer has something for you - see for yourself. Your choice. Your process. Your environment. Unlike foam backed abrasives, Kovax interface pads have an extremely long lifespan. So, you don't have to constantly replace them. This not only saves you time and materials, but it also reduces waste and helps reduce landfill. Fun fact: 1 interface pad equals 500 foam backed abrasives. In addition, interface pads offer multiple options in your sanding process. For example, you can choose a hard pad for more aggressiveness or a soft pad for more uniformity or to sand curves. This way you can personalise your sanding process! Get in touch to find out more about Kovax dry sanding disks and polishing disks. They will change your sanding game forever! #360supplysolutions #LessWaste #kovax #drysanding #SABusiness #OEM

How does a hot melt adhesive work? Hot melt adhesives are applied in a liquid (molten) state after being heated to the right application temperature. It is important to ensure the glue is hot enough for good application to the first substrate, with glue able to fill small crevices on its surface. The second substrate must be brought into contact with the first during the adhesive ‘open time’ and compressed, which helps to bond the surfaces together. Perfect Your Projects: Abrasive Insights for DIY and Pros Alike Choosing the right abrasive disc for the job: When choosing the perfect fit for your needs, consider these two factors about your choice of abrasives: Material Composition: The type of material can affect the durability and performance. Anti-Clogging Properties: This determines how effectively the disc can remove material. Less clogging means extended usage and more efficient stock removal. Now, let's talk about Mirka Gold Discs. They make the choice easy. The grain on these discs is made from aluminium oxide and has an anti-clogging release agent built into the grain and resin-on-resin backing. This stearate component helps prevent clogging, ensuring you're getting a high-quality product that works well and lasts. The heart of the hotmelt flat lamination process is the adhesive. The quality, temperature and viscosity of the adhesive are important factors in the coating process and are constantly controlled and monitored by the Maan ‘Melt on demand’ system. The unique feature of the Maan Drum Melter? A heated melting plate melts only the top layer of the adhesive. From above. And from here, the adhesive is pumped to the Tank Melter via heated hoses. This saves a huge amount of energy, as the entire vessel does not have to be heated. The Tank Melter is the storage vessel for molten adhesives. Here it is well heated and kept at temperature. The coating level in the tank is continuously monitored and refilled when necessary. At the end of the day, you can empty the buffer tank. So you don't have to reheat the entire stock the next day. Clever, isn't it? #hotmelt #flatlamination #adhesive #drummelter #coatings #coatingequipment

What is a dispersing agent or dispersant? A dispersing agent by definition is a paint ingredient which is used to avoid the flocculation of pigments and fillers. In other words, dispersants promote and stabilize the suspension of solid particles in the paint medium. Parts of dispersing agents All dispersing agents have two parts: Anchoring groups Soluble tails The choice of your dispersant will greatly influence the quality of your dispersion. FL/ITC VERTICAL AIR CLASSIFIER ⊙ Suitable for dry fine powder classifying, powders of ball shape, flake shape and needle shape, also powders with different densities. ⊙ Product size from classifier can control from d97: 5micron to 150micron. The product size is adjustable, changing material is very convenient. ⊙ Classifying efficiency (extraction rate) can be between 60% and 90%. Material with good flow-ability would have high classifying efficiency, otherwise, the classifying efficiency would be low. ⊙ Negative-pressure system. Dust emission would be less than 20mg/m3. Our machines have noise isolation device, which makes noise not higher than 80dB(A). #powder #milling #technologytrends #machinery
