At Springer Nature, we want our people to feel empowered to generate ideas and see progress on topics that matter to them. SN Pride was the first employee network to be launched. Since then, the network aims to help all of its members feel accepted, supported and included by offering guidance to the company, creating resources to support employees at work and at home, organising events and working together with the wider LGBTQ+ community in Science and Education. Over the past six months, 15 Berlin Sciencefluencers from the Berlin University Alliance (BUA) have been equipped to communicate their research to the public via social media, building trust in science. Some of our SN Ambassadors joined a Q&A session in April sharing their experiences and insights on leveraging social media for science communication. As a proud programme partner, we were excited to welcome the audience at an Award Ceremony in June, where the best Sciencefluencers were honored. Our joint mission of advancing discovery and disseminating trusted knowledge became evident during the welcome notes by Tina Harseim and Alexandra-Gwyn Paetz, the President of the BUA.
