We're super proud of AI Research Team! Seven academic papers from Squirrel Ai Learning were included in the #ICLR2024, the International Conference on Learning Representations. In this research endeavor, the Time-LLM algorithm developed by Dr. Qingsong Wen, our Chief Scientist and Head of AI Research, and his team, reconstructed the logical structure of large-scale language models, achieving highly efficient applications in time-series prediction tasks. Dr. Wen is highly esteemed in the field of artificial intelligence, having published hundreds of high-quality papers in top international conferences and journals, including NeurIPS, [ICML] Int'l Conference on Machine Learning, ICLR, KDD, PIEEE, and TPAMI. He has also received numerous academic honors for his outstanding contributions, such as the most influential paper at IJCAI International Joint Conferences on Artificial Intelligence Organization and the Association for the Advancement of Artificial Intelligence (AAAI) Artificial Intelligence Systems Deployment Application Award. This perspective allows to transfer methods from optimal control theory to generative models, e.g. to derive an evidence lower bound as a direct consequence of the well-known verification theorem from control theory. 🚀Exciting News! 🚀 I'm thrilled to announce that our latest work, titled "Advancing Supervised Learning with the Wave Loss Function: A Robust and Smooth Approach," has been published in one of the core journals of machine learning Pattern Recognition! [SCI Indexed, Impact Factor: 8]. This research delves into the development of a novel asymmetric loss function termed wave loss. It exhibits robustness against outliers and insensitivity to noise, boundedness, and a crucial smoothness property. Theoretically, we establish that the proposed wave loss function manifests the essential characteristic of being classification-calibrated. We believe this contribution marks a significant step forward in the field of machine learning, offering new possibilities for more reliable and effective models.
