When there's a new post, I'll share it on both my website and Medium. In this repost, I updated the blog post on topological quantum computing with quasicrystals. Quantum computing with quantum error correction codes (QECC) is now an engineering challenge, while topological quantum computing remains more theoretical and less widespread. Using quasicrystals in topological quantum computing is even more exotic but offers significant opportunities for both theoretical and experimental research. This field is in its early stages and requires pioneering work. We need to accumulate more research to attract funding for practical applications, which could be revolutionary.
