Everybody needs a CFO in their lives - what is it and why? 🤔 What is a CFO? A CFO is a chief financial officer. Their key roles are: ↗️ providing financial direction and accountability 🖇 linking the operational levers to the financial levers of the business so the impact of moving each is known and anticipated before actions are taken 🫣 the soundboard for creative ideas to bring the necessary financial and often non-financial resources together to map things out This is just 3 of the key roles and is why we love it at Tennick Accountants where we are asked to fulfil this role such as with R.E.P.R.E.S.E.N.T and even more fun when we are asked to be a co-founder. 😐 Why does everybody need this? Every business owner to some extent should be offered and hopefully receive this as they need direction to help move their business forward. They need accountability and a sounding board for actions they are taking. Finally; and most importantly, they need the confidence in terms of struggle to see them through, to ensure they enjoy the journey and can exit their business WHEN they want, with WHAT they want, HOW they want.
