When we developed Surfside Recovery Services back in 2016, our average resident already had 4 treatment episodes before landing with us. 7 years later, that number remains about the same. So many of the folks with us have a ton of clinical information but can't quite seem to apply it to their lives. It's where our life skill development, structure and accountability come into play. It's why we think it's important to develop an identity outside of just "alcoholic" or "addict." And unfortunately, many of these hands-on supports are considered non-clinical and are therefore not covered by insurance, creating an out-of-pocket cost for our program. We host ONE fundraiser a year... our comedy show! If you get stoked when you hear about what we're doing with our guys, I humbly ask you to support us.
