It’s fantastic to apply #AI in our technologies to simplify our life. However, have you thought about the required power consumption from the use of AI?
Applying AI demands an annual increase of around 3 to 6% of the existing power consumption. Therefore, powering AI has to be through renewable energy.
#Brazil is an excellent place to boost the supply of renewable energy from the global south.

This should be an eye opener. I'd advise professionals and industrialists to participate. IPPs do put a huge pressure on our economy but we as a nation have failed to address this issue objectively. Paying IPPs even if we can not purchase from them is one aspect, but failing to grow industry to make them run and consume energy and earn, is negligence and unacceptable. I'd be keen to seen if we can discuss the possibility of convincing our government, run by nincompoops?

At Remty-R, we believe that air is to humans what water is to fish 🐟 - it's our most vital medium.
That's why we're pioneering the Air Heating and Cooling (AHC) system for nearly Zero Energy Buildings (nZEB).
In our latest research, presented at the SZE 2024 conference, we compared AHC with traditional underfloor heating:
✅ AHC adapts quickly to temperature changes
✅ Dehumidifies air in summer for added comfort
✅ Integrates seamlessly with central ventilation
While underfloor heating has its merits, its high inertia can lead to overheating in winter and increased humidity in summer. ❄ ☀ In contrast, our AHC system offers precision control, ensuring optimal comfort year-round.
🍃 As we strive for a greener future, the choice of heating and cooling systems in nZEBs is crucial. Our research suggests AHC is the superior choice for comfort and potentially for energy efficiency too.

Looking forward to facilitating a workshop titled Towards a Shared Foundation for Innovation and Evolution at the 2024 Alberta Chapter CLRA Conference on March 6.
The purpose of this workshop is to highlight and discuss specific issues facing our industry, share potential improvement opportunities, and propose action items to develop solutions. Discussion items may include (but will not be limited to):
* What does closure look like? Are there pathways to do things different than the norm?
* Best Practices – what needs to be updated, what needs to be created?
* What Learnings should be shared across various industry sectors, and how can we support information exchange?
* What new technology can be used to help reclamation programs?
For more information, and to indicate your interest in participating see the CLRA website here (https://lnkd.in/g3wJnX4G).
At Connection Crüe our goal with all our Crüe Communities is to elevate our connections and conversations, and we are already out of the gate with several Crüe Club Table Topic Discussions with guest facilitators!
We are kicking off our Operator/Producer-focused networking events in Midland on January 16 where Gage McCoy will be facilitating the discussion around emissions, the recent EPA ruling, what we know it means, what it might mean, and how it will impact operators. Our events focus on genuine connections as well as industry insight. If you are interested in membership/sponsorship in Crue Club reach out to JP Warren for interest.
Upcoming Crüe Club January Topic Discussions:
HOU - Jan 25 - How the 2024 M&A environment and strategy has changed. Guest Facilitator: Drew Limbacher
OKC - Jan 30 - What challenges (and solutions) are operators faced with in 2024? Guest Facilitator: Omar Elizondo
We love the feedback, and discussions from our recently introduced table topic discussions and can't wait to continue to provide insight and conversations around relevant industry topics.

📜🌏 As we navigate the pivotal shift towards renewable energy in Australia, we're standing on the cusp of transformative policy changes.
The insightful proposition of a #CarbonSolutionsLevy (#CSL) by Professors Rod Sims and Ross Garnaut illuminates a path not just towards reducing carbon emissions but reshaping our economic and environmental future.
As I understand it this proposed levy is designed to accelerate our transition to a sustainable, renewable energy-based economy, highlighting the intricate balance between fostering economic growth and adhering to our climate commitments.
The CSL proposal represents a significant step forward in our environmental policy landscape. By imposing a levy on carbon emissions, it encourages industries to pivot towards cleaner, renewable energy sources, driving innovation and investment in green technologies. This not only aligns with global sustainability goals but also enhances Australia's competitiveness on the international stage, especially in markets increasingly favoring low-carbon products.
However, this transition raises essential questions about the future of our energy policy: How can we ensure that policies not only support a shift towards renewable energy but also bolster economic resilience? What mechanisms can be put in place to support businesses and workers affected by this transition? And how do we ensure that Australia not only meets but exceeds its climate commitments, setting a global example for sustainable development?
As business leaders, policymakers, and advocates for sustainability, it's crucial that we engage in these discussions. The road ahead requires collaboration, innovation, and a shared commitment to a sustainable future. I invite you to join the conversation on how Australia can best navigate these policy changes, ensuring a balanced, equitable, and prosperous transition to renewable energy. Let's explore together the future of energy policy in Australia and how we can contribute to a #SustainableEconomy. #PolicyChange#RenewablePolicy"
