Hapag-Lloyd has just launched an incredible new tool - Live Position - for real-time container tracking. 🌍📦 With Live Position, Hapag-Lloyd customers can now track their shipments from origin to destination, ensuring complete visibility throughout the journey. Already, over two-thirds of the company's dry container fleets are equipped with tracking devices, and by this summer, the entire fleet will have comprehensive coverage. ⏰ Dr. Maximilian Rothkopf, Hapag-Lloyd's COO, highlights the benefits of this tool, stating, "It does close the blind spots of global logistics, enabling real-time decision-making and risk mitigation for our customers, while allowing a more efficient steering of our fleet of boxes." Thanks to installed IoT devices, real-time data such as GPS-based location, temperature measurements, and vibration monitoring can be transmitted. This further enhances the accuracy and safety of #shipments. 📊💻 During the successful pilot phase, participants praised Hapag-Lloyd for their dedication to addressing customer concerns.
