𝗧𝗵𝗶𝘀 𝗶𝘀 𝗵𝗼𝘄 𝘄𝗲 𝗽𝗿𝗲𝗽𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝘁𝗲𝗮𝗺 𝗺𝗮𝗻𝗮𝗴𝗲𝗿𝘀 💪 Consultants at TAG looking to advance their careers can take the next step as team managers, starting with an apprenticeship, a one-year period in which they can try out the responsibilities of a team manager on the job. What are those responsibilities? Our team managers support consultants on their projects, but also help TAG grow as whole by strengthening the recruitment team and spotting sales opportunities. Consultant Lies van den Broeck started the apprenticeship this year: “I love people management but was unsure whether other responsibilities would appeal to me. The great thing about the apprenticeship is that it gradually introduces you to the different facets of the role and that you can assess for yourself after a year whether you want to take it up.” Throughout the apprenticeship, she is coached by team managers such as Martin Camerman: “I did the apprenticeship last year, so I fully understand the questions or doubts you can have. I’m glad I can share my experience and help others grow into the role.” By the end of this year, apprentices like Lies will be fully prepared to support their colleagues as team managers. 🤝 #TAG #Consultancy #ProjectManager #BusinessStrategy #TeamManager #Training #Recruitment #Sales

'Beyond the Blueprint' Reflecting on my internship at Castrol, which ended a month ago, I realized that some of the most important lessons I learned weren’t part of my project but were just as valuable: The Art of Small Talk: Building rapport starts with simple conversations. Small talks over tea or lunch can lead to big connections and open doors to deeper professional relationships. Embracing Serendipity: Not all learning is planned. Some of the best insights came from unexpected encounters and spontaneous problem-solving. The Zen of Routine: Finding joy in routine tasks can be surprisingly fulfilling. These routines provided stability and enhanced my efficiency. The Human Element: Beyond technical skills, empathy and emotional intelligence were game-changers. Understanding the human element in business was crucial. Celebrating Small Wins: Every achievement deserves recognition. Celebrating these moments keeps morale high and reminds us to acknowledge our progress. In the picture: My office colleagues celebrating the completion of my project with an icecream party.

We're excited to extend a warm welcome to our newest addition to the HR team, Mayadevi Rajkoomar, our HR Apprentice! We had the opportunity to ask Mayadevi some questions. Get to know Mayadevi Rajkoomar with us! ❓ What's been your favourite part of being an apprentice here so far? 📣 The most rewarding aspect of being an apprentice has been the daily opportunity to acquire new knowledge and the chance to connect with diverse individuals. ❓Can you share a moment where you felt like you really learned something new? 📣Every day presents an opportunity for growth, as much of what I'm learning is entirely new. I truly appreciate the patience and guidance my colleagues have provided throughout this process. ❓How do you balance learning on the job with your other responsibilities? 📣I prioritise my most important tasks in the morning before work and complete the rest during the evening. ❓What's one thing you're excited to achieve by the end of your apprenticeship? 📣By the end of my apprenticeship, I'm eager to apply the skills I've gained to new projects and take on additional responsibilities. ❓How do you stay motivated when faced with challenges during your apprenticeship? 📣When challenges arise, I focus on finding ways to improve and maintain motivation by embracing the learning process, acknowledging that mistakes are part of growth. We warmly welcome Mayadevi to our team and wish her every success as she embarks on this journey with us.

THE POWER OF SHOWING UP & BEING EXCELLENT IN THE LITTLE THINGS (This monday motivation has come a little late, but I hope it is still worth the read🫣) Sometimes, we’re so focused on waiting for the “big” opportunities that we overlook what God has already placed in our hands. From my experience, being a good steward of the little things truly sets the stage for greater blessings. Hopefully I will get to share in full detail, soon, how being a good steward has helped me get some good opportunities. If you want to earn more, how are you managing the money you have now? If you want a better job, how well are you performing in your current role? And if, like me, you're seeking a job, how are you working at your internship? In every workplace, I’ve observed a few types of people—those who only put in effort when there’s something financially rewarding, and those who give their best because it’s simply their work ethic (from an intern's point of view, lol 😅). Trust me, showing up consistently and striving for excellence, even when it’s hard, makes all the difference. As Luke 16:10 TPT reminds us: “The one who faithfully manages the little he has been given will be promoted and trusted with greater responsibilities.” 🙌🏽 So, whatever you're working on—whether it’s an internship, a job, or a personal project—don’t give up. Keep pushing forward, keep showing up, and continue to work with excellence. Even in the little things, people are watching! 💪🏽 Sending lots of hugs to everyone grinding every day and staying committed to their journey. You’ve got this! ✨ #Stewardship #ShowUpEveryDay #ExcellenceInTheSmallThings #GrowthMindset #FaithAndWork #LifelongLearning #KeepGoing

Halfway through my internship at Korn Ferry, and what a journey it’s been! Here are the top three lessons I’ve learned so far ⤵️ 🌟Be Curious: Actively asking questions and seeking out diverse perspectives has allowed me to expand my knowledge of Korn Ferry, subsequently improving the quality of my work. Also, don’t forget to ask questions beyond work topics to help build stronger relationships, as not all conversations have to be work-related. 🌟Be Present: The shift to flexible work-from-home policies post-COVID has changed how we connect. As an intern, I’ve found that being physically present in the office allows me to connect with people I might not meet online. These connections can lead to exciting project opportunities! 🌟Be Yourself: Korn Ferry fosters an inclusive environment that encourages me to bring my full self to work. Maintaining a positive balance between authenticity and professionalism is essential for networking and building meaningful relationships in all aspects of life. Remember, being authentic is what makes you unique and valuable! I would like to say a big thank you to everyone who has supported me throughout my internship so far. I’m excited for the next five weeks and eager to continue learning and growing with your guidance. #bemorethan #internship #kornferry #lessons
