🌟 Exciting Developments in the Chinese Solar Market! 🌟 Over the past two years, we've seen rapid growth in China's solar demand. While high PV module prices in 2022 slowed utility scale projects, small-scale DG projects thrived, making up 60% of the market. With eased supply chain issues in 2023, utility scale projects bounced back, taking 55% of the market in Q4. As we look to 2024, demand is set to reach 245-255 GW, despite some provincial grid connection caps and market uncertainties. Ground-mounted projects and commercial solar segments are driving the market, while new polysilicon and wafer production capacities are ramping up. With intense competition and falling prices, the industry is navigating through high inventory levels and modest demand growth. New era for PV dawning in #EasternEurope. Eastern Europe is one of the new #solarmarket champions. The organizers of Intersolar Europe 2024 are expecting a large number of visitors from this region. According to the European industry association SolarPower Europe, #Poland has been one of the top ten leading countries in Europe in terms of PV deployment since 2016. #Hungary has joined the list after adding 1.6 gigawatts (GW) of PV capacity in 2023, a 45 percent increase over the previous year.
