We're so proud of the diverse workforce that makes up our Talentpath team ❤️ and doubly proud of the advocacy our team is committed to ensuring Australian workplaces are informed on how to create and nurture inclusive environments. Our very own Alli Swanson is championing 𝑰𝒏𝒄𝒍𝒖𝒔𝒊𝒐𝒏 𝒂𝒕 𝑾𝒐𝒓𝒌 𝑾𝒆𝒆𝒌. Her unique perspective is powered by what some might call challenges: ADHD, anxiety, and sensory sensitivities. To us, they are her superpowers. These traits sharpen her problem-solving skills, amplify her empathy, and drive her to think outside the box. They remind us every day that diversity of mind is one of our greatest assets." You’ll feel her passion in the post she shared today – we borrowed it (see below) because it’s brilliant! 🌏🌈🧠❤️⭐ 🌎🌈𝐈𝐧𝐜𝐥𝐮𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐚𝐭 𝐖𝐨𝐫𝐤 𝐖𝐞𝐞𝐤: 𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐑𝐨𝐥𝐞 𝐨𝐟 𝐑𝐞𝐜𝐫𝐮𝐢𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐬 𝐢𝐧 𝐂𝐡𝐚𝐦𝐩𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐃𝐢𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐢𝐭𝐲💪🏽🫱🏼🫲🏼 This week marks Inclusion at Work Week, an opportunity to reflect on the progress we've made towards building more inclusive workplaces, while recognising the work still ahead. As recruiters, we sit at the intersection of talent and opportunity. We have the power to shape the future of work by encouraging our clients to embrace a wider talent pool and to think differently about what "great talent" looks like.🫶🏽🙏🏽 Inclusion at Work Week is a reminder of our responsibility to keep pushing the needle forward, fostering workplaces where everyone can thrive. ⚡ 1 week today until our first Diversity, Equity & Inclusion event goes live! And how’s this for timing… 💡 A study released yesterday (data from 6000 respondents across Australia) has shown that Equity is now a key driver for people deciding which employer has the best value proposition… It’s in the top 5 deciding factors, and it’s bumped “Strong Management” off the list completely. The top 5: ➡️Work life balance ➡️Salary & Benefits ➡️Job Security ➡️Development & training ➡️Equity* Equity is all about offering equal opportunities, regardless of age, gender, or ethnicity, etc. It's clear that to attract A Players in 2024, employers need to be able show action in this space. We’re at 140 RSVPs (!) so it really does show that not only is this front of mind, but people are doing something about it - continuing learning, prioritising action, and building connections with peers who also care 💪 Looking forward to Thursday next week! 🥂

As Gen Z increasingly enters the workforce, it’s essential for employers to understand how to attract, engage, and retain this new generation of talent. Gen Z is bringing with them a strong digital aptitude, a commitment to social causes, and an expectation of work-life balance that differs from previous generations. To engage Gen Z effectively, companies must adopt digital-first strategies, ensuring that both the hiring process and the workplace itself are tech-savvy and flexible. Additionally, promoting mental health and creating an environment that values diversity and inclusivity will resonate with this socially conscious generation. It’s also important to recognise that Gen Z seeks purpose-driven work. They are more likely to be attracted to organisations that align with their personal values and offer them opportunities to make a meaningful impact. By adapting your workplace culture to meet the needs of Gen Z, you’re positioning your organisation as an employer of choice for the future workforce. #GenZWorkforce #WorkplaceCulture #TalentAttraction #DiversityAndInclusion

Talking about diversity at work is a given these days, but the modern workplace isn’t just about filling an office with people of different races, backgrounds, or identities. Inclusion is the real key, and it's something that everyone can and should contribute to, even if you're not a hiring manager or recruiter.
