Many thanks to Nareit for inviting state officials to Tanger National Harbor to show them first-hand the significant contributions REITs make within our local and state economies. The group spent the day with Nareit representatives visiting local business owners who are Tanger tenants, as well as time with Tanger General Manager Rick Ivy and Marketing Director Carrie Masich who shared specific examples of how our center is making an impact in Prince George County and Maryland, overall. REIT-owned properties are located in every state and contribute millions of dollars in jobs and investment income to the national economy each year. Proud to be a publicly traded REIT since 1993, Tanger continues to innovate the retail experience for shoppers and brand partners alike. #TangerProud #ConsiderCommunityFirst #MakeItHappen #REIT

HOW SUNDERKAND CHOPAI IS RELEVANT FOR CORPORATE EMPLOYEES: DOHA 4 OF SUNDERKAND On one side of the Weighing balance you keep Degrees Earned, Grades achieved & Experience accumulated , the (weight) happiness and power of this is far far less than If you get Good and True Employer, Good and True Colleagues, who understands you, and you gain something and are reciprocated by adding value in you on the other ( weight )side of weighing balance. Satsang here means, company of true people ( In corporate ,the employers and colleagues). In the same way an Ideal employer is the one who is not happy by the turnover but by having honest, true, dedicated employees who should be reciprocated .

#warning ! long post 😅 In my recent travels across Malaysia, I stumbled upon intriguing connections between the GCC (Gulf Cooperation Council) and Malaysia. What began as a casual visit to LuLu Group International in Kuala Lumpur for delectable yoummy samosas 😋 unfolded into a series of unexpected discoveries... During a routine shopping spree at Imago Shopping Mall in Kota Kinabalu, my encounter at Marks and Spencer took an unexpected turn. While settling the bill, the cashier extended an invitation to join the membership -politely declined and on the way to hotel, open the bag and guess? 😁 Majid Al Futtaim Blue Rewards Membership voucher. A small twist of fate, revealing the global reach of this retail giant As my exploration continued in Semporna, a visit to McDonald's for a simple ice cream turned into a revelation 😂 . The video playing while awaiting my order disclosed that the franchise license for Malaysia's McDonald's is owned by a #Saudi giant, owns 20 Year license, highlighting the extensive international investments in Malaysian businesses Next city, George Town, Penang guess we saw? flydubai announcement starting February 10, 2024, offering a direct route from "Dubai to Penang" Van, driving close to the hotel in KL glance of an eye i have noticed the GMG branding on the van, which i find out later, they have retail store of Nike at Suria KLCC and The Pavillion Mall The broader narrative of these encounters resonates with the significant investments pouring into #Malaysia from the #GCC, particularly the UAE. Notable instances include Masdar (Abu Dhabi Future Energy Company) ambitious $8 billion commitment to develop up to 10 gigawatts of #renewable projects by 2035, spanning #solar and #wind energy, as well as #battery #storage The collaboration between PETRONAS Abu Dhabi and ADNOC Group in exploring and appraising Unconventional Onshore Block 1 further solidifies the economic ties between the UAE and Malaysia. This historic agreement covers a vast 2,000 square km concession area in the #Al #Dhafra region. LuLu Group International recent announcement of a $300 million investment for expanding its hypermarkets in Malaysia further underscores the flourishing economic partnership. Malaysia holds a crucial position as the UAE’s 12th-largest global trade partner, while the #UAE ranks as Malaysia’s #second-#largest #trade #partner in the Arab world In 2022, bilateral non-oil trade reached an impressive US$4.8 billion, reflecting a remarkable 36 percent growth from 2020. These developments not only showcase the dynamic business landscape in Malaysia but also affirm the GCC's investments continue to weave into the fabric of Malaysia's business ventures

The lifeblood of Malaysian cities wasn't solely comprised of towering structures. It was the everyday people – merchants, shopkeepers, artisans, and countless others – who wove a vibrant tapestry of urban culture. From bustling marketplaces to cozy coffee shops, these individuals breathed life into the city. Yet, in 1997, a legislative shift went beyond mere rent control; it reshaped the very essence of these communities. Customary rights, once deeply ingrained, were cast aside in favor of unfettered markets and absolute property ownership. This wave of deregulation swept across the nation, leaving a trail of forgotten traditions. From the hallowed grounds of Malay reserves to the communal lands held by Chinese clans, the echoes of social practices faded. Even the remote forests of Sarawak weren't spared. In the chorus of voices championing heritage and conservation, a deafening silence surrounds the dismantling of these customary rights. Think tanks, so often vocal, seem strangely mute on this crucial aspect. The focus, it seems, lies in preserving the physical – the monkeys in the trees – while the very foundation, the "political elephants" causing the tremors, remain curiously unaddressed. The satay here thankfully remained amazing, but I wondered what happened to the rest just around the corner post Covid? #heritageconservation #urbanization #polarization #kopitiam
