Attention, sales battalion! 📚 🎙️ As this week's mission concludes, let’s figure out how to make next week better. Was there a difference between how your sales started and how they ended? Did your deal values go up or down? If we want to take control of our pipelines, it means taking control of our deals’ value. Discounting and conceding on price are not ways we serve our customers – if we’re regularly doing those things, there’s a massive area of improvement we need to address. If this hits home, you’re going to love this week’s sales system. We sat down with Tyler Watkins, senior regional sales manager with Spirent and former intelligence officer with the United States Marine Corps, and he showed us exactly how to work collaboratively with our prospects to ensure that budgets are things with do WITH our prospects instead of TO them. Prepare to conquer the ever-shifting terrain of the sales battlefield next week, and it’s all in this week’s Bulletproof Selling sales system, linked below!

As a 13 year military veteran, I applaud you. Military veterans face an unnecessarily steep climb when transitioning to civilian life, especially when confronting persistent biases folks have that military experience has no equivalent in the civilian world. For example, I've turned boolean logic and avionics troubleshooting into heavy-lift data engineering for predictive analytics that can tell if a claim is headed toward litigation in the same way that a TFR (terrain following radar) ride line can determine if a plane is going to hit an upcoming cliff when flying 200 feet off the deck automatically. Both demand nuanced critical thinking skills; and I'm just one small example of veterans outperforming expectations at all levels. So let's show our thanks to veterans by hiring veterans.
As a Veteran, one of the motivating factors when looking for a new position is finding out if a company supports the hiring of Veterans re-entering the workforce. I am so pleased that on October 18th I will represent CCMSI while partnering with the U.S Department of Veteran Affairs, by attending "Veterans Ready for the Workplace!" This is a great opportunity to showcase how Veterans have SO MANY transferable skills that fit perfectly with CCMSI and some of our current openings! Spread the word ❤️

Want to win the war on talent? Hire Veterans! Trusted Veteran-hiring Advisor | Speaker | Connector | Trainer | Coach | Author | "Military Ministry Builder"
Want a quick, easy way to spot top talent? Marine Ray Lawler (Asia-Pacific CEO at Hines) uses an acronym he learned during military service to guide his choices for picking the best talent and ensuring he has a bench for the "next man/woman up.” It is "JJ DID TIE BUCKLE:" *Justice *Judgment *Dependability *Initiative *Decisiveness *Tact *Integrity *Enthusiasm *Bearing *Understanding *Courage *Knowledge *Leadership *Endurance. Ray says, “We can always hire folks with a great business acumen or a wonderful resume or the technical skills, but I have found that the best people possess these traits and qualities.” Most Veterans bring these qualities, and more, to the civilian workforce. If you plan on hiring more Veterans on your team, join us for Veteran Talent Academy. At “Basic Training,” you’ll learn why Veterans make great employees and the fundamentals for hiring them. I am proud to know Tony Liles, LSSGB, CCP . He’s a walking testament of what successful transition looks like. He understood that he could believe himself, but furthermore, humbly recognized utilizing outside resources is also an element to success. As was in the service, it often times takes a diverse team to have mission success. Organizations like Mission43 & #HireHeroesUSA were two of those. Click below to read more of Tony’s admirable story, and come check out Mission43. City of Boise #veterans #transitioningveterans
Our employment team is on standby, ready to help military members and military spouses find meaningful employment right here in Idaho! Tony transitioned from active duty service in the Army and found employment success at the City of Boise Just like Tony did, you could FIND SUCCESS TOO! Read Tony's story: https://lnkd.in/dH6YQNwd

Attention, sales battalion! 📚 It’s Friday, and that means it’s time to decide about what we’re improving next week. It’s time to debrief. Look at how many people you have to speak with in a customer’s organization to make a sale, and ask, “How can I get more of them on board, faster?” That’s the question we posed to Gavin West, vice president of sales and marketing at Smileyscope and former United States Marine Corps scout sniper. He showed us exactly how to put more rounds on target even in the most complex sale, and he was even willing to share an entire process that each of us can implement. Let’s sharpen your skills, conquer the battlefield of sales, and emerge as a sales warrior. Check out the link below to take charge of your complex sales!
