Antea Group España y Latinoamérica through Antea Group Colombia, in partnership with TPF INGENIERÍA, is proud to lead the comprehensive supervision of the works of the "Ruta de los Comuneros", a vital project that seeks to improve the road infrastructure in the departments of Cundinamarca, Boyacá, and Santander.
The assistance, which began in June 2021, covers the technical, environmental, social, property, and contractual supervision of the project, which includes updating the designs and construction of second lanes on the Zipaquirá bypass and the Casablanca-Ubaté section, which will increase the interurban road capacity of the northern region of the Bogotá Savannah.
The agency driving this ambitious project is the Instituto Nacional de Vías INVIAS. The segments to be intervened encompass two essential aspects: the improvement of the existing road and the construction of the second carriageway between Zipaquirá and Ubaté. The overall scope of the project covers several elements, including 5.2 km of intersections, 6.3 km of return roads, 8 pedestrian bridges, 6 vehicular bridges, 10 km of rehabilitation, and 34 km of new roadway. The planned investment is US$118 million.
To date, the work is 36% complete, slightly ahead of schedule. Antea Group Colombia and TPF, with their experience and dedication, are committed to guaranteeing quality and efficiency at every stage of this transcendental project. The MHC 063 consortium, under the management of MHC INGENIERIA Y CONSTRUCCION DE OBRAS CIVILES and Mario Alberto Huertas Cotes, is executing the works with a solid technical and professional approach.
