And so it's Warsaw, Brussels, Kraków and Belin on the #event horizon of the next 3 weeks. And if I told you that I'm really looking forward to each and every single one of these unique, industry-specific #conferences, it would still be an understatement. All of them are long-term partnerships, independent of one another, in some instances going back to the beginnings of my consultancy, LCMedia.pl. Over the past few months, I've been getting more and more inquiries from companies and institutions based in other EU countries, including technical #universities, international #organizations and renowned #hackathon brands. Not to mention #online #publicspeakingtraining assignments in other countries (incl. intercontinental). This tells me one thing, above everything else: gone are the days when national #stereotypes and historical #bias would play a critical role in choosing, say, an #eventhost for a Western European event format. In fact, only 20 years ago, no one would even consider looking for a conference #MC from Central and Eastern Europe, for a Western European format, not to mention a well-established and incredibly ambitious pan-European #conference like EIT Manufacturing BoostUp 2023! I still remember the first such international assignment, nearly a decade ago, when I got a phone call from Vienna inviting me to #host Europe's biggest European Patent Office conference. I will never forget this unique conference and what it taught me about, not only intellectual property and global patent landscape, but what I really wanted to do in the future and why. So yes, it's merely one of the thousands of reasons (some small, some big, some truly revolutionary, like crossing borders freely and doing business internationally) why all of us, as in EVERY SINGLE ONE OF US, have reasons to be grateful for this thing called the European Union!
