As a Brand & Visual Designer, I specialize in creating visual identities that capture the essence of a brand. My work involves developing logos, color schemes, typography, and overall design systems.
Hyping Up Your Race Is the Power of Pride and Unity Hyping up your race is about embracing and celebrating the unique qualities, culture, and history of your racial or ethnic group. It's an act of pride that fosters unity, resilience, and empowerment within your community. By uplifting your race, you acknowledge the struggles and achievements of those who came before you and inspire future generations to do the same. This celebration can take many forms, from participating in cultural events to promoting positive representation in media. It’s about creating a narrative that highlights the strengths, beauty, and contributions of your people, counteracting stereotypes and misconceptions. Ultimately, hyping up your race is not about diminishing others but about standing tall in your identity, encouraging mutual respect, and fostering a society where every race is valued and appreciated. Meet me hyping up my race to 1k LinkedIn family soon with 900+ now WOW!!! PS: are you hyping up your race or are you researching for a HYPEMAN? Let's hear you in the comment section but remember the appreciation will have it way to him and not you PSS: Currently working on food brand projects called "HAPPI HOUR" Posting here soon once the project has been done #brandidentity #freelancedesigner #hypingupyourrace #1klinkedinfamilysoon

#DobInAMateWhoDoesSomethingGreat ! I’d like to dob in Robyn Westgate and Sheldon Smith. You both have been wonderful MATEs to me; helping, supporting, encouraging and building me up at every opportunity. Your genuine care and authenticity entirely match the content you teach. You truly walk your talk. It’s an absolute honour and pleasure to work with you and to call you friends 🌻! A bit of background: The MATE Bystander Program is a fantastic framework that supports the eradication of gendered violence, through research-backed and highly practical information. The framework is an easy-to-remember, simple way of identifying ways in which we can address inappropriate behaviours etc, while keeping ourselves safe in the process. There’s so so many things we can do … it’s not only about ‘Calling it out’ (although this certainly has its place!). This initiative is wonderful because effecting change in this space is about inviting people INTO the conversation, not shutting anyone out or denigrating them. And so by dobbing in our ‘MATES who do something great’, we are celebrating the actions that will counteract this huge problem in Australia; we’re keeping the conversation real and constructive; and we’re appreciating people and making them feel good! And who doesn’t want that? Find the sparkly moments and people in your day today all; appreciate them; and be well 😉 -Jules 🌻x
2024 saw the inaugural MAY8 day where we asked you to 'dob in a mate for doing something great" We say, not just May8 - how about we dob in a mate for doing something great every time they do! Let us start by dobbing in Sheldon Smith who after a Mate Bystander Curtin chat with folks from Environmental Consultants Association (WA) made a point of walking colleague Robyn Westgate to the back to her vehicle in what was by this time of night an almost empty, dim, dark multi level parking space. Kudos to Sheldon for realising some women could feel intimidated and anxious having to venture into such a place at night on their own and for being a MATE (Robyn then dropped Sheldon off at his vehicle!) Today is World Braille Day, an opportunity to raise awareness of Braille as a means of communication and its role in furthering human rights for blind and visually impaired people. Braille, created by the Frenchman Louis Braille, is a tactile representation of alphabetic and numerical symbols that enables the blind and visually impaired to read with their fingertips using a system of six raised dots. In November 2018, the UN General Assembly proclaimed January 4th as World Braille Day, “recognizing that the full realization of human rights and fundamental freedoms relies on an inclusive written promotion.” The World Health Organization estimates at least 1 billion people globally have a near or distance-vision impairment, and those people are more likely to experience higher rates of poverty and disadvantage, leading to lifetimes of inequality, poorer health, and barriers to education and employment. In 2006, the United Nations adopted the Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities, which has advanced the rights and well-being of persons with disabilities and considers Braille essential for education, freedom of expression and opinion, access to information, and social inclusion. The UN’s initiative to increase global access to essential information in accessible formats, including in Braille and audible formats, was amplified during the COVID pandemic, resulting in new practices to promote disability-inclusive information in Braille. In the heartwarming tale of Zoe Rainey, a Belfast teenager, we are reminded of the power of perseverance and the importance of environmental stewardship, even from a young age. Zoe, despite her personal challenges, has earned a Blue Peter green badge, crafted from a recycled yoghurt pot, for her environmental efforts. This badge places her in the esteemed company of Sir David Attenborough, highlighting the universal reach of environmental activism. Zoe's story is a beacon of inspiration, showing us that environmentalism knows no boundaries and that every individual, regardless of their circumstances, can contribute to a sustainable future. Her achievements underscore the significance of educating and involving the younger generation in environmental matters, as they will inherit the mantle of stewardship for our planet. It's stories like Zoe's that fuel optimism in the fight against environmental challenges. Let's all take a leaf from her book and remember that every small action counts towards a greener world. #EnvironmentalHero #YouthEmpowerment #SustainableFuture For more on Zoe's journey and her badges:

Did we forget about #WelcomeWednesday in our rush to post the creek cleanup story? No. But it ties in with our featured groups today. First, we have For Our Grandchildren. Some of you may remember speaking with the representatives at the Meet Your Match Volunteer Fair. They have the daunting task of trying to clean up the planet, one little corner at a time, like when Grandma got you to help her clean the shed. And while the name implies a finely mature membership, the truth is that they welcome all ages. You just need a can-do attitude and a desire to leave the planet better than when you arrived on it. Our second group, and one of our sponsors, is Ontario Public Interest Research Group, or OPIRG. They focus on environmental issues as well as human rights and social change. You might be amazed at some of the overlap of these topics. They skew a little younger in perceived demographics, but again, they do not limit membership to just students. If you share their concerns over the state of the world, feel free to learn more at our opportunities page, https://buff.ly/3w7GpGS We should all want to leave the place better than we found it. It's the polite thing to do. #Environment #GreenPower #EarthActivism #VolunteersNeeded #HumanRights #GreyPower #YouthInAction
