Last year we had our first exit for investors since the pandemic and have three more in the works for the first part of this year. One of my favorite people to listen to is Dr. Kevin Elko and one of his phrases is to "keep chopping wood". The analogy is about cutting down a tree. If it doesn't fall after a few hits from your ax, you keep chopping at the tree. You don't give up until you see the desired results. 2023 was an active year despite economic headwinds. BV Capital closed on two new parcels of land for future multifamily developments in Denton and Arlington, TX. Additionally, events included the completion of Bridgeview Real Estate's First Delaware Statutory Trust (DST) while launching our 2nd DST, our 1st land recapitalization, and continued work on current projects building value for investors across our portfolio.
