𝐃𝐚𝐧𝐢𝐬𝐡 𝐰𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐫 𝐜𝐨𝐨𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐞𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐛𝐥𝐢𝐬𝐡𝐞𝐝 𝐢𝐧 𝐃𝐮𝐛𝐚𝐢 💧💪 Faced with several water challenges, the city government in Dubai has been inspired by the Danish Water Summer School, Advanced Water Cycle Management Course (AWCMC), and now wants to enter a cooperation to set up a similar education. Last week, representatives from Dubai and Denmark signed the MoU agreement to secure the new collaboration. A few days ago we attended a conference organised by the Economic and Commercial Office of the Spanish Embassy in #London in collaboration with ICEX on the #WaterManagement and sanitation sector in the #UK 💧 ⚙ A sector of great relevance if we take into account that between 2014 and 2021 the United Kingdom has been the country in Europe with the highest #investment in water and sanitation infrastructure. We are talking about an investment of 7,690 million pounds; that is, 6.8 times the EU average investment and there are plans to double the current investment until 2030. The sector is making a strong commitment to modernisation and investment in new technologies such as #waterqualitymonitoring and control, prediction of consumption patterns, #predictivemaintenance of systems and optimisation of water treatment processes. Insightful Sessions Led by International Experts: Our sessions, guided by global experts like Ms. Wilasinee Poonuchaphai, Mr. Tobias Schleicher, and Mr. Hiroyuki Kobayashi, shed light on essential GPP implementation strategies and lessons learned from across the globe.
