Ecora Resources PLC CEO, Marc Bishop Lafleche and CFO, Kevin Flynn provide highlights of the 2024 Half Year Results. “Our portfolio contribution in the first half of 2024 was up 15% year-on-year, driven by a strong performance from Kestrel. H2 portfolio contribution is expected to be principally weighted to the Group’s other producing royalties including production volume growth at Vale's Voisey’s Bay and Capstone Copper's Mantos Blancos mine. Further production growth at Voisey’s Bay is expected thereafter as underground operations ramp-up up to steady state production levels. “Capstone Copper’s updated Feasibility Study on the Santo Domingo project reiterated the project’s robust economics and potential to operate within the lowest cost quartile of global copper mines. BHP’s decision to temporarily suspend operations at its Australian Nickel division, in light of current nickel market weakness, including the construction of West Musgrave, was disappointing but we remain confident in the project’s potential as a low-cost producer of nickel and copper. “We have seen a strong uptick in opportunities to further grow our portfolio, which we continue to evaluate applying our stated investment criteria and a capital allocation priority to maintain a strong balance sheet.” www.ecora-resources.com #ECOR LSE: $ECOR | TSX: $ECOR | OTC: $ECRAF

Protecting the diversity of cultural expressions is vital for peace, sustainable development, and fostering a more inclusive and equitable world. On World Day for #CulturalDiversity for #Dialogue and Development, ICMM's Danielle Martin, and Haajarah Ahmed are in Peru, visiting MMG Limited's Minera Las Bambas mine. They're there to see firsthand how mining with principles is supporting improved company-community dialogue. Las Bambas is on a transformative journey. By embracing cultural diversity and fostering dialogue, they're demonstrating how the mining sector can strengthen relationships with local communities, mitigate conflicts, and contribute to sustainable development. The insights from Las Bambas resonate across the industry. With 50% of energy transition minerals projects located on or near the lands of Indigenous Peoples — whether through claim, custom, or ownership — this connection brings unique obligations and challenges. Sensitive engagement during project design, development, and operation is crucial. Today, serves as an important reminder of the richness of the world’s cultures and the essential role of intercultural dialogue for achieving peace and sustainable development globally. Last week, I travelled through the Ordovician-aged Macquarie Arc of New South Wales, Australia with Inflection Resources Ltd. checking out the company’s immense land package (750,000 ha) that follows this prospective belt of rocks under cover. The attraction is to discover another porphyry copper-gold deposit on the scale of the Cadia underground block-cave mine, which is operated by Newmont Corp., after it acquired Newcrest Mining, and produced about 600 koz of gold and 100 kt of copper over its last fiscal year. The Tier One asset hosted 1.2 billion tonnes of reserves grading 0.42 g/t Au with 0.29% Cu as of the end of June 2023. Not many juniors (or majors) are doing grassroots copper programs, in part, because this is a high-risk (under cover) but high-reward exploration program which requires a long-term approach that does not always fit with investors seeking a ‘quick win’. As a consequence, AUCU’s management team has successfully mitigated some of its financing risks after it attracted a long-term partner in AngloGold Ashanti. Given its location, if the partners do find something worthy of development, there is a good chance that it will be. I will be down under for another week, so I look forward to sharing some of my observations from my travels to Victoria and Tasmania. Subscribers to Exploration Insights will get the full download in the weekly letter.
