Keeping Miami beautiful and protecting our local beaches, green spaces and waterways is a top priority for the CRC. Unfortunately, a new ordinance proposed by the Miami Beach Commission goes too far by banning the use of balloons at public parks, beaches and marinas – and could hurt local families and small businesses like Bond Party. “We support responsible celebrations. If balloons can no longer be enjoyed at parties and events in Miami Beach parks and facilities, it would hurt our business and our customers – and we know we’re not alone. We urge the Commission to consider alternatives that protect the environment without hurting local business and families.” – Bond Party The CRC strongly supports responsible use – including weighting balloons and banning intentional release – as well as consumer education to ensure balloons are properly placed in a balloon recycling or disposal bin. The ordinance will be reviewed by the Commission TOMORROW, Wednesday, January 31st. Make your voice heard by attending the meeting at the Miami Convention Center (2nd floor). Public comment will take place from 8:30AM – 9:00AM and 1:00PM – 1:30PM. Let’s find a way to keep our environment clean AND support local businesses. #ResponsibleUse #ConsumerEducation #BalloonSafety #Balloons #Sustainability #CelebrateResponsibly

🚨 Attention Pembroke Park Community 🚨 Kelsey's Lounge is now facing undue pressure from our own town leadership, including the mayor and commission. After receiving a noise complaint, an ordinance was swiftly enacted, seemingly with the sole aim of targeting this one establishment. But it doesn't stop there. This isn't the first time; another local business (Emelia’s Espresso) has faced similar scrutiny under our current leadership. Is this the approach we support, where individual businesses are singled out by our local government? I stand firmly against such practices, which smack of abuse and corruption. We must ask ourselves: Are we okay with our leadership's targeted actions against specific businesses? I say no. It's time to stand united against these injustices. #PembrokePark #StandTogether #LocalBusinessSupport #CommunityFirst #FightCorruption kelseyslounge.com

FARE Idaho wants to make sure that restaurants and bars are aware of Senate Bill 1381 regarding liquor license legislation and the impacts to resort cities. FARE Idaho has not taken a stance on this legislation, but wanted to share the bill information. Senate Bill 1381 Statement of Purpose: "Idaho’s liquor license quota system is based on a city’s residential population. In resort cities, where populations fluctuate widely based on tourism, residential population is a poor measure of the actual number of people in town at a given time. This bill would create a resort city restaurant liquor license, allowing up to three additional liquor licenses for restaurants in resort cities, subject to approval by the city. The majority of the restaurant’s revenue must be from food, and liquor may only be sold during the hours food is served." Learn more about SB 1381 at: https://lnkd.in/gF9_-ZYg

Elevating Brands through Marketing & Digital Expertise | Empowering Leasing Teams, Tenants, and Owners with Innovative Solutions
📢 FINDING FOOD FITS 🌟 Non-Chain Bistro Pubs on the Rise: At Lewis Retail Centers, we’re witnessing a surge in popularity for non-chain bistro pubs. Some of our standout concepts expanding within our portfolio include: ➡ Fire Rock Burgers & Brews opening its second location at the Marketplace at Calimesa. ➡ Kenwood’s Kitchen & Tap launching its second spot at Town Center at the Preserve in Chino. ➡ Left Coast Brewery debuting its third location at the Collection in Ontario. 🚀 Quick-Service Restaurants Thriving: Quick-service restaurants with limited menus are also booming. Successful examples include Roll Em Up Taquitos, Dutch Bros. Coffee, 7 Brew, and SWIG. 🌿 Creating Inviting Spaces: Restaurants with patios that blend into outdoor public spaces are a huge draw, offering consumers the al fresco dining experience they crave. At Centennial, we helped Nardò Italian Restaurant create such a space at Pacific City, connecting to the center’s common areas with stunning views of the Pacific Coast Highway and the ocean. 📱 Embracing Tech-Forward Concepts: We’re also exploring tech-forward concepts. For instance, at Town Center at the Preserve, we’ve opened a Starbucks Café designed primarily for in-app orders and a Chipotle that caters exclusively to in-app drive-thru orders. 🤝 Collaborative Success: Success in these ventures requires close collaboration between landlords and tenants. By maintaining open communication and working together to create flexible, well-designed spaces, we can meet the evolving needs of modern consumers. I’m excited to see these trends continue to evolve and to be part of creating spaces that enhance the dining and shopping experience for everyone. #RetailTrends #FoodAndBeverage #CaliforniaLiving #RetailMarketing #LewisRetailCenters #CustomerExperience https://lnkd.in/ghjiZfZJ

Did you see the article Kerdyk Real Estate was included in for listing Duffy Tavern's for sale in the Miami Herald? You can read the article in the post below to learn more about the establishment and why it's selling. And congratulations to Duffy's for landing the front page!
If a museum is a collection of important historical and cultural artifacts, a haven for the precious elements that show us all we have been as a community, then Duffy’s Tavern is a museum of Miami. The restaurant and bar, originally built in 1929 as a residence, has been feeding and watering the communities around it with warmth, humor and hamburgers ever since Martin Duffy first opened the business in 1955. Now, the property, right on the edge of Coral Gables, is up for sale, its future uncertain even as the faithful still flock. Read more: https://lnkd.in/di6ghfxc
For almost 70 years, this beloved tavern has fed Miami. Now it’s for sale
