I don’t write so frequently but I would like to share with you guys a nice interview to Sara Mari-Strasser. We have many times issues with our lunch, we don’t know where to go, what to eat or sometimes no time to spend in a restaurant. If you had issues with some of that points, I think you should read about Schrankerl and why can be a good choice for you https://lnkd.in/dX4sCXpe

Deputy Managing Director at Baur au Lac Vins Chef Sommelier Baur au Lac ASI Best Sommelier of the World 2019
Christmas time! It's the season to be jolly, surrounded by your loved ones - an occasion to serve a wine that will not only impress but will be to everyone's liking. Easier said than done: where does one even begin? Here is how I do it: 1) Choose a wine that you yourself like. Steer clear from particularly adventurous or complicated wines to make sure that it hits everyone’s tastes just right. 2) The wine should be easy drinking. 3) Special dishes call for high qualitative wines. (Be sure to look for value – the holidays are long, so you might need a couple more bottles 😉 ) 4) Storytelling A wine tastes even better when you can tell its story. Special treat for the Swiss among you: at www.bauraulacvins.ch you can find our selection of perfect wines for the Christmas season - available until December 3rd. Baur au Lac Vins

Prosecco versus Champagne… Sparkling wine is an ideal celebratory drink for weddings, celebrations with friends, dancing all night, cooling down in summer, or warming up in winter… In other words, to enjoy unforgettable moments of joy with those you love! Yes, these bubbly beverages share a similar sparkly effervescence, but there are many differences to note about these two types of sparkling wines https://lnkd.in/gC3hK5gr

Champagne & Prosecco, India's sparkling showdown! If Champagne is the king of celebrations, Prosecco is the charming contender shaking things up. Yes, Champagne has that old-world prestige. But Prosecco? It’s the crowd-pleaser redefining what it means to celebrate. As Champagne prices continue their ascent—with an average bottle costing you around ₹9,500 and a projected growth rate of 6% annually from 2024 to 2032—Prosecco presents a more budget-friendly alternative, typically priced between ₹2,500 and ₹2,800 per bottle. In 2023, Italian sparkling wines saw global sales of 936 million bottles, maintaining stability year-over-year but reflecting a robust 24% increase since 2019. While Champagne’s heritage and sophistication are beyond question, Prosecco’s rapid rise is undeniable. With nearly 1 billion bottles sold globally in 2023, Prosecco is clearly stepping into the spotlight. There’s no doubt—a new star has emerged. In essence, Prosecco is carving a substantial niche without dethroning Champagne. At Monika Alcobev, we're proud to offer both, catering to every palate and occasion. After all, why choose when you can have #OnlyTheBest? Cheers 🥂 #Champagne #Prosecco #France #Italy

Bar or with a card? The fundamental question in gastronomy 💶 In Germany, one thing is not yet on the menu for some restaurateurs: card payment.🧾 The main reason for this is the additional costs involved. 💳 There are therefore some restaurants that still rely on the motto “cash only”. On the other hand, there is the immediate availability that is given with cash payment. ⏲️ Further information on this topic can be found in our new blog post, which you can find at this link: https://lnkd.in/eYtJT4hV #finance #money #restaurant #payment #germany #future

And The World's Biggest Quaffer Of Champagne Is... With Christmas and New Year's celebrations upon us, many people currently stock up on their favorite drinks. And what better way to toast on a special occasion than opening a bottle of champagne, one of France's proudest exports. The United States and the UK are particularly fond of the exclusive sparkling wine from the Champagne region, having imported 33.7 and 28.1 million 750 milliliter bottles in 2022, respectively. With the exception of the U.S., Japan and Australia, Western European countries like Germany, Belgium and Italy are dominating last year's top 10. This is not to say that other countries don't enjoy sparkling wine, but the numbers only refer to the higher-priced, regionally produced drink from the French region of Champagne. The area was officially designated in 1927 and is home to winemakers like Veuve Clicquot, Moët & Chandon and Krug.

Why not ? Non-alcoholic is descriptive and far from being negative. At the contrary how much value are we creating by proposing unique and innovative products aiming at offering best of both world of aromatic complexity providing emotion and conviviality and health. Non-alcoholic wine category is not a low-end product, it is not about fake or imitation, it is about disruptive innovation which needs pioneers to open the way ! "La Cuvée aims squarely to deliver a similar flavour and texture profile to seriously aged, vintage champagne, which is no mean feat for a two-year-old, low-calorie, carbonated wine without sulphites. Amazingly, it succeeds. Mid-caramel in colour with fine bubbles and pronounced flavours of brioche and nuts, with a toffee-apple note, La Cuvée has an impressive texture, body and balance- Helena Nicklin, Daily Mail Thank you Daily Mail for your review of FRENCH BLOOM La Cuvée Vintage 2022, which includes an interview with Rodolphe Frerejean Taittinger & Maggie Frerejean-Taittinger. https://lnkd.in/gYKksZnz Louie-Joe Findlater Baptiste Sauzedde Mathieu d'IZARNY-GARGAS Alexis ROGER Constance Jablonski Marie Atallah Sarah Polverelli Jeridan Frye - Schechter Rachel Fox Alex Kovalov DipWSET Audrey Diane Poulain
