Nowhere is this trend more evident than in South Carolina, one of the fastest growing states in the country. The Palmetto State has become a destination for a wave of new clean energy manufacturing projects, including plants that manufacture electric vehicles and the components that power them. Those industries require a lot of energy, as do the new residents moving into South Carolina every day.

On April 18, National Lineman Appreciation Day, we honor the skilled and courageous men and women who dedicate their lives to ensuring we have reliable access to electricity.
