Nordic Interim celebrates 20 years 2024! This year Nordic Interim Sweden celebrates 20 years, and we want to share our history and experiences with you. The success of our company would not have been possible without our wonderful colleagues. Clara Scherman is partner at Nordic Interim and has been with the company since April 2023. She thinks that the most fun part with Interim Management is supporting clients with urgent business-critical challenges: “You need to quickly understand the need of the client and be able to translate them into possible solutions through our network of senior leaders.” Why did you choose to join the Nordic Interim team? “What attracted me to Nordic Interim, among other things, was the opportunity to work in a company that solely focuses on Executive Interim Management. In many other places, Interim Management is a side business to recruitment, but here it is our core, it is what we excel at. Additionally, it is a culture characterized by collaboration, where both customers and Interim Managers have access to our entire team.” #interimmanagement #anniversary #team

Adaptability and resilience have guided me through a variety of experiences that have shaped me into a leader who can make an impact in any setting. Two major changes have occurred in the course of my career: a brief hiatus, the first of a fifteen-year journey, and a brave leap from the UK to the UAE. Through welcoming change as a chance for personal and professional development, I have crossed international boundaries and broadened my skill set. Though the amount of time I spent here is impressive, what really matters is the magnitude of the impact I had during my tenure. Strong, long-lasting relationships are proof that I can connect with people on a deep, personal level, regardless of where we are in the world or what language they speak. But while the old echoes reverberate, a new rhythm develops—one that reverberates through ATS hallways and echoes keywords. Yet, I am strengthened by my recent accomplishments, which have been recognized by prestigious organizations and refined through a variety of international experiences. From the lively marketplaces of faraway lands to the tranquility of Belfast, every experience adds thread to my fabric. I have always strived for excellence in my leadership roles, whether it be at prestigious consultancies like Accenture or in direct client engagements with PwC UK. From guiding a soft launch to directing streams of revenue worth millions of dollars, my journey from finance to technology has been filled with life-altering experiences. Presenting myself to you today, I am more than just a skill-bearer; I am also a change-agent, an innovator, and a curator of organizational glory. An unfaltering commitment to excellence has guided my journey, which has been illuminated by a love of learning and the delivery of exceptional client outcomes. Let your imagination run wild to a future where my visionary leadership sparks revolution, my skill sets overcome obstacles, and my willingness to work together cultivates an environment of continuous improvement and achievement. As a team, let's take on the world and prove that we can overcome any obstacle by achieving remarkable milestones. I am prepared to set out on this adventure with you if you are brave enough to dream big and if you are looking for a leader who can break down barriers and reimagine what we can achieve. How about we collaborate on writing the next chapter of our organization's excellence story? #career #careerdevelopment #jobseekers #network #findajob

Owning your role and its importance to the business To truly make a meaningful impact to the organisation, and its performance, you’ll need to take ownership of your role and responsibilities. Understanding you’re an extension of your leader, and acting as a representative of their interests and priorities, is key. Taking pride in your work, being proactive, and resourceful are all hallmarks of a stand out executive assistant. Additionally, I often suggest to ambitious EAs to consider undertaking an MBA or other relevant business qualification to increase their knowledge, skills base and professional standing. Making this investment in your career is a statement about your value and what you bring to the organisation, while of course deepening your business savvy. NHS Management Consultant | Operational Strategist | Transformation & Service Redesign | Productivity Solutions | Mentor and Coach to NHS and Healthcare Managers | Career Development for Operational Managers
You've just started a new role, so whats next? I've recently noticed a number of people starting new roles in operations management within the NHS, which is great. It’s fantastic to see the fresh energy and perspectives new starters bring to services in the NHS 🎉 If you are new into role, then this post is for you. Here are some key steps and priorities for your first 30 days. These are based on my own experiences and observations: 🏢Get to Know the Organisation: Spend time understanding the structure, culture, and key personnel of your organisation. This will help you navigate your role more effectively and know where to find key people. 🤝Meet Your Team: Building relationships is crucial. Schedule one-on-one meetings with your team members to understand their roles, challenges, and expectations. This will foster trust and open communication. Do this within the first week. 🫂Discover you key stakeholders: Slightly different to people above, this will include people working outside of your team or division/service such as peers in other specialities, understand relationships and mutual needs. 🏥Understand Current Processes: Review and understand the current service delivery processes. This will give you a clear picture of what’s working well and what might need improvement. 🗣️Gather Feedback: Start conversations with staff and stakeholders. Their insights can provide invaluable guidance on where to focus your efforts. Be visible while doing this and introduce yourself to staff. 🎯Set Clear Goals: Based on your understanding and the feedback received, set clear, achievable goals for your service area. This will give you and your team a clear direction. 📋Get to know your Governance Structure: Meet with your senior leadership team to understand what the meeting and reporting structure looks and your role in those meetings, reports etc, Starting a new role can be both exciting and challenging, but remember, every day is a learning opportunity. Don’t hesitate to ask for help when you need it and always keep the lines of communication open with your manager. You’ve got this! 💪 #NewRole #NHS #ServiceManager #HealthcareLeadership #NHSOperations
