At The Reputation Lab, we're so often considered a "Reputation Management" company. We prefer to think of ourselves as a "Guest Engagement" company in that we engage with your guests by responding to their reviews, AND we coach your team through our Guest Engagement Training Program. This article is certainly a great read about the need for training and investing in the resources we have at the hotel. https://hubs.li/Q025bCR70

Dear Hotel Managers, I came across this video which is quite instructional. Please note as the Chief operating officer in your Hospitality establishment, you are the custodian of Standard Operating procedure (SOP)which is an operational guideline instrument. Do not be dragged into following a shortcut to the ways certain services are delivered because they are not going to last. Please stick to standard procedure. If some one wants you do unethical things , please point out the standard and advise on the implications of not doing the right thing. In that way you would be exonorated for wrong doing. Be smart

Founded Zest Bar Services, pioneering a hospitality venture dedicated to redefining customer experiences in bar services, excellence within the hospitality industry, setting new standards for service quality.
I've seen firsthand how critical staff training is for hospitality excellence. The numbers speak for themselves. 📌Companies that invest at least $1,500 per employee in training have 24% higher profit margins (ASTD) 📌78% of guests say well-trained staff are the key factor in their satisfaction at hotels (Forbes) 📌On average, hotels with formal training programs retain 9% more of their staff (Hotel Management) With stats like these, ongoing training that develops your staff is clearly non-negotiable. Here are a few of my top tips: 🍷Hire for soft skills - Mindset matters more than experience. Look for a genuine service mentality. 🍷Set clear expectations upfront regarding service standards. 🍷Cover both hard skills (making drinks, handling reservations etc.) and soft skills (building rapport, reading guests). 🍷Shadow top performers so new hires can model winning behavior. 🍷Refresh with regular skills updates, new techniques and reminders on brand messaging. 🍷Incorporate constant feedback from managers and guests. Praise strengths and correct weaknesses. 🍷Make training engaging - role play, games, friendly competition. Have fun with it! Investing in your people pays back exponentially in guest satisfaction. Let's connect if you want to build a culture of continuous development at your property! I'd love to help craft an experience your guests can't stop discussing. https://lnkd.in/dXJPu4eB #letsconnect #barservices #zestbarservices
