Prime Big Deal Days has begun. Here’s what you can do now. 💡 Guiding principal: Every Prime Day shatters previous sales records. Bonus principle: It’s not too late. Here are some last-minute checks and hacks for both sellers and shoppers. For Sellers: -> Verify coupons are running. (It’s not to late to run them!) -> Adjust your account level and campaign level budgets if you have them. If your ads are optimized, you want to spend more. -> Consider pausing your lowest performing ad campaigns. Focus on higher ROAS campaigns. -> Test promo codes. Take them all the way to checkout. They fail often. -> Leverage “Prime Day” heavily in your outreach. Amazon has already “primed” customers. Ride that marketing wave. -> Consider the “oh I forgot method”. Run a 10% off coupon on your entire catalog, and send out a flash sale email. Do it now. *Pro Tip: Coupons go live very quickly For Shoppers. -> That slushie machine is only a good deal if you like slushies. -> Prioritize *toys* from your holiday shopping lists. They are the first thing to sell out on Black Friday. -> Double check big buys on Walmart, Target, Best Buy, etc. They are running big deal events this week as well. -> Don’t forget about Amazon Warehouse Deals. Type "Amazon warehouse" into the search bar. -> If you don’t have a prime membership, consider getting one; you can cancel during the 30 day trial period. -> Consider loading your cart and executing all at once at sale end. That can prevent this from becoming a 2-day blackout you regret for months. -> Did we talk about the slushie machine? What Prime Day hacks am I missing? Which one of you is dipping into your kids’ college fund to buy viral TikTok gadgets? (You know you’re out there.) ——— 🔹 We increase velocity in Whole Foods, Walmart, Target, Walgreens, CVS, Kroger, Sam's, COSTCO, and lots of other cool retailers. 🔹 We grow brands on Amazon. #cpg #cpggrowth #retailgrowth #retailvelocity #omnichannel #retail #amazonagency #retailmedia #shoppermarketing #instacart #grocery #egrocery

4️⃣ Strategies to Harness "Prime Day Hype" even if you aren't selling on Amazon. This year, competition for July sales is intense. Walmart has announced its Walmart Deals event from July 8 to 11, while Target will run its promotion from July 7 to 13. For those not on Amazon but wanting to attract early deal hunters, here’s how you can increase sales on your ecommerce site. 📈 1️⃣ Capitalize on the buzz: Utilize the excitement surrounding Prime Day by hosting your own special event. Give it a unique name associated with your business or make a humorous nod to Prime Day in your promotions to capture customer attention and boost sales. 💡 You could encourage customers to support local businesses instead of big retailers like Amazon. 2️⃣ Monitor and adjust pricing: Review the prices of similar products on Amazon. If they’re lower, consider revising your pricing strategy during this period. 💡 Offer bundled products that highlight cost savings to keep customers engaged while they search for the best deals. 3️⃣ Foster customer loyalty: While attracting customers with deals is important, retaining them is key. Make joining your loyalty program simple and stress the benefits such as savings and early access to promotions. 💡 Encourage them to join your social media groups to remain top of mind throughout the year. 4️⃣ Plan and prepare: Many Amazon sellers start promoting deals well before the two-day event. Shoppers anticipate fantastic deals during this period, so ensure your marketing campaigns are ready in advance to go live as soon as Prime Day chatter starts trending online. #primeday #amazonprime #hack #marketing #advertisingandmarketing #digitalmedia #digitalmarketing #brandsafety #marketingstrategy #socialmedia

Amazon Prime Day is one of the biggest shopping events of the year. And using Coupons and Lightning Deals can make a huge difference in your sales on this big event. What are Coupons? A coupon allows you to offer discounts on single or multiple products and enjoy automatic merchandising on Amazon. Products with coupons appear in shopping results with a green badge displaying the discount amount. Why leverage Coupons? ▪ Coupons make your products pop with a green badge in search results. ▪ Shoppers love deals, and a coupon can make the difference. ▪ Higher visibility means more clicks and more sales. What is a Lightning Deal? A Lightning Deal is a limited-duration (4 to 12 hours) promotional offer featured on the Amazon Deals page. Why leverage Lightning Deals? ▪ Limited-time offers create urgency and drive immediate action. ▪ They appear on the Amazon Deals page, providing prime exposure. ▪ They drive sales and help reduce inventory. Ready to make this Prime Day your best yet? Start implementing these strategies now. Let’s call it what it is… Prime Day is Black Friday in July. According to Adobe Analytics, Amazon Prime Day is becoming akin to Black Friday in terms of the boost it provides to the e-commerce sector. This year, sales increased by 11% compared to 2023. Many retailers are offering similar promotions to Amazon, driving significant sales during those two days in June. Electronics led the way in product sales, with an average increase of one-third over Prime Day (compared to daily sales in June 2024). At Pushly, we witnessed this firsthand. A leading technology retailer using Pushly saw a 34% increase in clicks to their site thanks to their push notification strategy. Push Notifications = Click to Purchase = Happy Customers. The Power of the Push is real. #primeday #pushnotifications #push #ecommerce

Amazon's "Prime Day" is approaching, and sellers are strategizing to maximize the event. With Amazon's Fall Prime Day just around the corner, I've had several conversations with fellow sellers about what this means for our holiday season. Here are some highlights: 1. Don't expect it to be a game-changer for your Q4 goals. This event is more of a warm-up act for the main holiday show. 2. Think strategy, not just sales. Use this as a chance to: - Clear out slow-moving inventory - Test your holiday promotions - Boost your product rankings before the big rush 3. Optimize, optimize, optimize! Even if you're not running huge deals, ensure your listings are in top shape. The increased traffic might just bring a nice little sales bump. 4. Mix it up! Offer deals or bundles different from your Black Friday/Cyber Monday plan to keep your customers coming back for more! 5. Don't stress if your sales aren't through the roof. Many shoppers are holding out for those sweet Black Friday deals. Remember, this is still a relatively new event. As it grows, so will the opportunities. For now, think of it as a dress rehearsal for the main event of the holiday season. What's your Fall Prime Day strategy? Is #Amazon losing its grip on Prime Day? 🤔 As Prime Day continues, a surprising trend emerges: Amazon's share of purchases during the event has decreased for the third year in a row. Here's what professionals in #retail and #ecommerce need to know: • Competitors are successfully diverting dollars with their own summer sales events • Tap into the potential of retail media, which is projected to be a $150bn market by 2026 • Focus on personal purchases and back-to-school items over early holiday shopping Our VP of Marketplaces, David Hutchinson, says, "Consumers are searching for practical products such as indoor and outdoor furniture, sporting equipment, and more – which leads us to predict consumers will focus on personal purchases over early holiday shopping." How are you adapting to the evolving e-commerce landscape? Read more 👇 https://lnkd.in/gRfUpb8s
