Political violence is borne of structural violence. We cannot reduce the former without understanding and addressing its origins in earnest. “Lowering the temperature” of our political discourse may be a start, but it is by no means a real solution to what plagues our nation. The recent reduction of bond for the Trump case in NY has raised questions about the political nature of the decision. According to Mr. Wonderful, this case was mishandled from the start, and it's hard to argue against that. When the case goes to appeals, we can only hope that justice is served. What's even more concerning is the potential impact on our justice system and the ability for people to do business. It's unfortunate that politics seem to be overshadowing what should be a fair and impartial process. This is a clear example of how the end does not justify the means, and we need to be vigilant in upholding our values and principles. Not of Marxism or tyranny not because of politics but because it is the right thing to do. Lady justice must be blind or we all lose. It will come back to haunt you dems as well. I am hoping that when this is over that those who did this are brought to justice, not as to get back but ensure our system of justice in the future & that people know that we are ruled by just and fair laws not by tyranny. Our nation is built on the Constitution and the rule of law. We must endeavor to keep our Republic...it is slipping away fast! I challenge anyone w/ TDS to look at this objectively. Look at what this has done to our country, borders wide open, people being killed, peoples property rights being violated by gov'ts. THIS IS HAPPENING RIGHT BEFORE OUR EYES...WAKE UP!!!! In a previous post, I wrote: “the events leading up to a trauma including the conditions around it or preceding the trauma or traumatic event can lead to a shift in timeline in explaining how small changes can lead to unforeseen shifts and changes in environments and overall landscapes.” This video explores how the events that shaped 1/6 can have a ripple effect. Even though the myth about the election being stolen has been dismantled, many voters still refuse to accept the election results and due to the current economic crisis with rising inflation and an increased cost of living and voters feeling as though democracy is being undermined, the survey results referenced in this video are startling. Even more disturbing is the number of people in this country who own a gun or recently purchased a gun. In a previous video, I shared the movie trailer for Civil War and even though that is a fictionalized account of some dystopian future, the people being interviewed in this video suggest that a Civil War may be necessary or at the very least a strong leader for President even if it is one who undermines democracy which casts a very fascistic threat and overtone just based on what we know from history.

While charges of the managerial state and political prosecutions are distracting shiny objects, it is evident that our society is hampered from acting in its best interest to protect the polity. The proliferation of political violence is the bellwether issue of our political environment. Attempted Assassination at Trump Rally: A Stark Reminder of National Divisions Thank God former President Donald Trump is safe after a harrowing assassination attempt at his rally in Butler, Pennsylvania, on July 13, 2024. The suspect, who attempted to attack Trump during his speech, was quickly subdued by Secret Service agents before any harm could be done. This incident starkly reminds us of the dark times in the 1960s when political assassinations were more common. This attempted assassination underscores the urgent need for our nation to confront and address the deep-seated hatred and division that currently plague our political landscape. Political violence and extreme partisanship threaten the very fabric of our democracy. It's a call for unity and healing, a reminder that our political discourse must be grounded in respect and civility. Such violence not only endangers lives but also disrupts the democratic process. This event, tragic as it is, might significantly impact the political landscape, potentially galvanizing support for Trump as the election approaches. "WHY" DOES NOT MATTER!? Whenever I mention that Donald Trump is repeating Nazi propaganda the answer I always get is, "Why would he do that?" This is usually delivered as if I'm some nut on the subway saying the end is nigh. I don't know. Insanity? Megalomania? Criminality? God complex? I DON'T KNOW AND I DON'T CARE You expect me to understand why Trump is a cock who wants to kill all the chickens? I don't know what makes someone like this. 1. But I trust my eyes over propaganda.
