It’s International Women’s Day! If you don’t know already, everyone at Sales UpRising loves to celebrate the wins of entrepreneurs, may they be rocking a thriving business or just starting out. This IWD, we’re thrilled to take a moment and honor all of the ladies that are making a name for themselves in their industries and changing the way women are seen in the world of business! Recently, Wells Fargo Newsroom released an article that offered several stats about women-owned businesses in our post pandemic world. We’d love to share some of the exciting information we learned from their well-researched publication. From 2019-2023, women have taken things up a notch in the business world. In fact, during the pandemic when many male-owned businesses were closing doors or losing revenue, women were opening even more businesses than were closing, and increased their revenue immensely. In fact, women outpaced men by 94.3% for number of firms, 252.8% for employment, and 82.0% for revenue. On top of that, half a million women owned businesses that earned between $250,000 and $999,999 grew their revenue by 30% allowing them to inch closer to millionaire earnings. Black/African American and Hispanic/Latino women-owned businesses increased at an even faster rate as we entered the post-pandemic world. So, let’s give the ladies a round of applause for being true rockstars when adversity struck and helping to set the pace for the business world as we move past the pandemic. The future is bright for women, and we’re excited to see what the upcoming years bring! Ladies, beware the whispers of mediocrity infiltrating the realm of entrepreneurship. The voices who claim you don't require dedication to expertise, those who tell you that good enough is good enough. In a world preaching and teaching rules and regulations of what it takes to be successful as long as you obey as long as you conform as long as you play the numbers game regardless of integrity or excellence thereby robbing you of the very Spirit of Creativity and Artistry which called YOU by name, it is time to take a stand for exceptional female owned businesses. And when I say take a stand I mean take a stand beside. This is why The Unapologetic Woman is choosing to create a WebWork of female founders who believe in their products and services and who are willing to put their name their reputation to their empires. The Unapologetic Woman Femme Business Directory is your opportunity to be featured and supported by our global rempowerment movement. It's your opportunity to be part of a network of woman owned businesses who are vetted and interviewed to ensure that you can do business with confidence. This is not a platform you can buy your way into even though there is a financial investment but rather you will be taken through a thorough application and interview process knowing that every other business featured has gone through the same. Only those who show dedication to their mission whilst upholding themselves to a high level of client satisfaction experience will be given the opportunity to be part of our network. If you are a female founder ready to be part of a new class of woman-owned empires, we invite you to find the details at https://buff.ly/4beet3T and start your application today. #unapologeticwoman #femalefounders #womensupportingwomen #womeninbusiness

On Tuesday evening, I had the pleasure of attending an event organised by Female Founders Rise, bringing together members of our community who lead service-based businesses. It was a fantastic opportunity to connect with female entrepreneurs who are leveraging their expertise to support the growth and development of other businesses – a mission that resonates deeply with our own. The highlight of the evening was undoubtedly the panel discussion, where three remarkably successful young women generously shared their stories, lessons learned, and best practices. Their insights were not only invaluable but also incredibly motivating. As we networked and exchanged ideas, I was struck by the sheer diversity and talent in the room. Every conversation was a testament to the passion and drive of the women present, everyone was happy to share their own journey and learn from others. One question that repeatedly arose during our discussions was, "What is the most common challenge you help with?" For me, the answer is simple yet critical: helping aspiring brand owners understand the true costs – both in terms of finances and time – involved in launching and growing their product businesses. If you're considering starting up a maternity, baby or children's product brand, please do get in touch with THE NEST. Let's have an honest conversation about your aspirations, challenges, and how we can work together to lay a solid foundation for your brand's success.
