The construction industry has one of the highest rates of suicide at 53.3 per 100,000 U.S. workers. That rate is four times greater than the national average and five times greater than that of all other construction fatalities combined. Today, ▫️Matt Granados had the opportunity to equip the Association of General Contractors' Suicide Prevention & Mental Health Forum with effective communication tools and strategies that have the potential to further their mission in preventing suicide in their industry. We spend time at every jobsite discussing mental health and safety and providing resources for our team members, but we recognize that someone might still be struggling in silence.
