Do you create quarterly rocks? Quarterly Rocks are your company and individual top priorities for the next 90 days, aligning with your annual goals and long-term vision. They help maintain focus, ensure accountability, and break down larger projects into manageable tasks. Treating them with utmost importance ensures that critical objectives are met, which drives your business success. If you aren’t creating these quarterly “musts”, consider doing so.
As a business leader, have you ever had to divert all of your resources to solve an issue or avoid a potential catastrophe? What about when it comes to your Rocks? Nothing is more important than your Quarterly Rocks, so you must know what to do when your Rocks are in danger of not being completed. Treat it like a potential catastrophe. Chris Heileman shares why 👉 https://lnkd.in/eU-QUHJy

Been working in mental health care for over thirty years. Why? Because the American Family needs it to thrive. Why is it a problem? 1. Access: High costs, limited insurance coverage, and a shortage of informed and effective mental health practitioners. 2. Education and Awareness: There is still a stigma surrounding mental health issues, which can prevent individuals and families from seeking help. 3. Culturally Competent Care: Sometimes providers are insensitive to the unique cultural beliefs, values, and practices that may impact mental health and responsiveness to treatment. 4. Support for Caregivers: Caregivers often don't know where to turn or don't have the resources to help them maintain their own mental health and well-being. 5. Prevention and Early Intervention: We don't have prevention practices via an integrative behavioral health continuum of care that promotes collaborative care and interagency cooperation. Overall, bridging the gap in mental health care requires us to work together to ensure that all families have the resources and support they need to achieve optimal mental health and well-being. Please join us for this important event. #mentalhealthcare #mentalhealthequity #integrativecare #suicideprevention #family #equity

I'm encouraged when I hear our clients shift their mindset from a life of success to a life of significance. It's an important moment to recognize, especially because many of them have been grappling with how to make a meaningful impact and touch the lives of others beyond the sale. This shift is important particularly because recent studies have shown that living a purpose-driven life can lead to better physical and mental well-being, contributing to a longer, healthier and more satisfying life. The good news is that purpose doesn't have to come from grand gestures or public recognition. Simply touching another person's heart through acts of compassion, empathy, and kindness can bring immense meaning and fulfillment to your life. With this in mind, I founded a Holistic Sales Management practice with the mission of contributing to the overall well-being of The Modern American Family. In theory, by supporting business owners and sales managers find greater success in sales and well-being in their professional lives, their wellness would extend to their families and other relationships. I encourage you to consider how you can celebrate your own "Life to Service" by dedicating your time and efforts to a cause larger than yourself. By doing so, you can unlock a sense of lasting fulfillment that will enrich your life for years to come. #holisticsalesmanagement #yoursalesconsultant #sales #wellness #marketing To read more about The Modern American Family in Distress go to: https://lnkd.in/enSeRuCf

What great guidance from Brian Sullivan, CSP about staying confident during pricing negotiations. It can be challenging, but when you "believe" in the value of your offering and you don't hesitate or appear unsure, the other party is more likely to believe in the quality of what you're selling. It's all about showing that you know what you're talking about and that your product/service is worth every penny. So, keep that chin up and believe in yourself and your pricing – you've got this! Thanks for the tips Brian.

Confidence is key when it comes to discussing pricing in B2B sales. It’s not about justifying the value; it’s about owning it. When you know your product or service is worth the price, your prospect will feel it too. Don’t flinch—stand firm and let your confidence drive the conversation. #SalesConfidence #B2BSales #PricingStrategy #ValueSelling #SalesLeadership #PRECISESelling

I watched my friend Brian Clifford suffer from Pancreatic Cancer so I am running for the Ron Foley Foundation. We don't want anyone with this disease to "run" alone! This foundation is a non-profit located in West Hartford that raises funds to provide direct financial support to those battling the disease and educate the community about pancreatic cancer. Please donate if you can. Thank you. #pancreaticcancer #fundraiser #demandbetter https://lnkd.in/eaZ-KMyq

The idea of deliberate practice has captivated me for years. While some individuals dedicate themselves to practicing until they achieve their goal, others obsess over perfection. For me, this speaks to Angela Duckworth's research on "Grit" since most of the high achievers I work with or have met over the years demonstrate a deep level of perseverance and a passion for continuous growth. They consistently practice the "right" skills and are open to constructive criticism and making mistakes because their always pushing the envelope around their capabilities. Well, when sales professionals practice a proven repeatable sales process throughout every stage of the process until flawless execution is achieved, companies, sales managers and sales teams can reach the pinnacle of excellence and consistently deliver remarkable results. Are you practicing deliberately? To find out if you have Grit, take this 12 question self assessment: https://lnkd.in/eQzdg5Yx #holisticsalesmanagement #salesmanagement #sales #fractionalsales #growthmindset #grit #deliberatepractice

What comes to mind when I mention the term, "Modern Elder?" I find that despite an initial lack of familiarity, the term invokes curiosity and some mild amusement. Yet, for the first time in recorded history, many workplaces are employing people from all five generations simultaneously. -Traditionalists: 1925–1945 -Baby Boomers: 1946–1964 -Generation X: 1965–1980 -Millennials: 1981–2000 -Generation Z: 2001–2020 This presents a rare opportunity for intergenerational collaboration and the transfer of wisdom like never before. A Modern Elder thrives at the intersection of business, innovation, psychology, and heart and I believe that a Modern Elder can contribute to a company’s success by blending their experience and wisdom while embracing new ideas and technologies. And, Modern Elders are aware of the incredible range of preferences, skills, work styles, and sensitivities at play in the workplace. So, if I have sparked your curiosity and want to learn more about the concept of a Modern Elder, a term coined by Chip Kelly in his book, "Wisdom at Work: The Making of a Modern Elder", I invite you to explore my story at https://lnkd.in/ev_xdM-i. Love this lesson from Brian Sullivan, CSP at the dog park. Considering my wife Belinda N. Ahern has consulted with dog owners for over fifteen years and I've been in sales management for over thirty, we share a lot in common. What kind of animal does that make us?

Let's talk about the differences between sales training, sales coaching, and sales mentoring. 1. Sales training is typically a structured program that focuses on teaching sales techniques, product knowledge, and process management. It's great for new hires, those looking to brush up on their skills or companies looking for a repeatable sales process. 2. Sales coaching, on the other hand, is more personalized and focused on helping individuals improve specific areas of their sales performance. Coaches provide feedback, guidance, and support to help reps reach their full potential. 3. Sales mentoring goes beyond just improving skills - it's about developing long-term relationships and helping individuals grow professionally and personally. Mentors share their expertise, offer advice, and provide support to help mentees navigate their career paths. In a nutshell, sales training is like attending a class, sales coaching is like working one-on-one with a personal trainer, and sales mentoring is like having a wise, experienced guide by your side. Each has its own unique benefits and I love doing all three, so why not mix and match to create a holistic sales development plan?
