There is movement on EU level. What is good to read that the EU commission recognized the S Pedelec as a way to achieve the sustainable goals but that’s it. Unfortunately no further progress to take the S Pedelec out of the(Kat. L1e-B) which is the light motor vehicle category. That prevents as well law makers to allow more easy the s PEDELEC to bike lanes or bike pathes and there are as well still many points in the homologation which is driven from mopeds run by gasoline. But we won’t give up to lobby that there would come a own category which would make a lot of sense. We are aware that’s still a long process even with S Pedelec you can replace much more cars in urban areas then with a bike or Ebike as the range of usage is shorter. #heretochange Stromer Bikes

10moI am with you Tomi we could replace many more car rides if the legislation would make it more easy..... keep on lobbying I think that cities will play a very important role more and more cities follow the Paris example....and many also the bicycle highway examples from The Netherlands.... where S Pedelecs can achieve their full potential.... travelling far and fast....
