Tonight's Spotlight Employee post takes us to the Bitterroot where we get to meet Kathrin, who holds down the overnight shift at Hamilton 1. While much of the world sleeps, Kathrin stays busy, taking the time to get to know her regular customers and their preferences in order to provide the best service possible. It really takes a special person to thrive in the wee hours, 🌃 and we want to salute that trait in Kathrin. Working overnight can be a tough experience for some folks, but it's clear that overnights are Kathrin's time to ✨shine✨! All this is not to say she doesn't get to experience daytime too. You may just find Kathrin on her day off 🥾 hiking and enjoying the scenic wonders of the Bitterroot or cracking open a good 📖 book. Randy, the store manager, really has praise upon praise for Kathrin and her demeanor. Honestly, there's a lot of love flowing over in Hamilton and we're thrilled to join in! Thanks a bunch for your disposition and dependability, Kathrin! We're super excited to see where your career takes you with us at Town Pump!

Choosing the right career for you isn't just about finding a job; it's about finding your passion and purpose. When you're in alignment with what truly inspires you, work doesn't feel like work ,it feels like a fulfilling journey. Take Oprah Winfrey, for instance. Despite facing numerous challenges early in her career, Oprah remained steadfast in her pursuit of a career aligned with her passion for storytelling and connecting with others. Today, she's not only one of the most successful media moguls but also an icon of inspiration and empowerment. Similarly, Steve Jobs followed his intuition and passion for technology, founding Apple Inc. and revolutionizing the way we interact with technology. Despite facing setbacks along the way, his commitment to his vision ultimately led to unparalleled success and innovation. These stories remind that when we choose a career path that resonates with our true selves, and experience a different level of fulfillment. So, dare to dream big, follow your heart, and pursue the career that ignites your passion. The glow and happiness you'll radiate will be the power of aligning your career with your true purpose. Find a path that brings out the best in you! And if it has a picture, this is how it looks 👇😄

For those in our community that may not be aware. Since Jan 2024 Premier People have onboarded some extraordinary talent to lead an entirely new service division: Permanent Recruitment. Paige Keep and Bradley Carton are bringing their combined years of recruitment experience to our partners; clients and community. With access to a huge range of industries there are very few positions that we are unable to assist! Recruitment can be hugely challenging and is not simply popping an Ad on a job board! (If done properly) The amount of work that goes in to vetting and validating a candidates eligibility, suitability and availability for a position is massive! What's more, when you do it all yourself, there's absolutely no guarantee! Whereas with Premier People, in the unlikely event that the candidate isn't a great fit for your company, we will replace them completely free of charge within the first 3 months! That's a statement of assurance in our people and selection processes!

Today is my 8 year work anniversary at Douglas Stuart Ltd. This got me thinking... What is the average tenure of employment? UK - 10.1 years France - 10.4 years Germany - 11.1 years USA - 4.1 years Australia - 3.3 years Denmark - 8 years The average tenure of employment in the #Recruitment industry ranges between 2 to 4 years and the most common reasons for leaving are; 1. Career Advancement (lack of opportunity) 2. Work-Life Balance 3. Feeling Undervalued Which for me speaks volumes for the way Douglas Stuart Ltd. have supported me, given me the opportunity to develop, and thus the reason I'm 8 years in and still enjoying the journey.
