Truisms of commentary: Say what you see. Tell them what they're seeing and explain what it means. Blue car, red car. You may recognise them in an instant, your audience won't... There's always a sector of the audience who know much more than you... and a sector who've fallen into the broadcast wondering 'what's this?' Never under-estimate your audience.
