We've come a long way since the pandemic, but according to a recent Gallup survey, the number of employees who strongly agree that their organization cares about them has plummeted from 49% in 2020 to just 25% in 2024. Could this be a result of carewashing: the act of outwardly presenting a company culture of care on the surface, with very little genuine support on the inside? Or something else?
