Here's a little Q&A session we did with Dan… Q1. What is your Job Role? A1. Facilities Manager Q2. What would you say is the best part of your job? A2. I like the day to day variety, each day is different. Planning and strategy are at the corte of facilities however Quick reactive thinking where needed is a great challenge. Q3. What would you describe as your best achievement in your career, so far? A3. Although I don’t have a defining moment in my career qualifying as a marine engineer and gaining my Health and safety qualifications were a proud moments. Q4. Is there anything unique or interesting about yourself that you'd like to share? A4. Me and my partner have recently had 3 children in three years! 🚀 Exploring a New Career Venture: Maintenance Consulting 🛠 As I consider launching a interim senior living facilities maintenance/consulting venture, I envision providing comprehensive support to senior living facilities, filling/healing the gap between directors. This starts with thorough assessments of environmental operations, identifying areas for improvement and optimization. From there, I'll develop customized plans tailored to their specific needs and goals, implementing new protocols, systems, and vendors for enhanced efficiency, all while assuring the facility stays compliant and safe. But my support extends beyond process optimization as I will be helping facilities get physically organized and setting up future maintenance personnel for success.
