I think 2024 is going to be the year businesses are forced to accept the need to get better faster and adopt #AutomatedIntelligence so they can understand why IT IS actually CHEAPER to get BETTER FASTER I wonder how many Q1 revenue projections are accurately accounting for trading day and the extra sales days this quarter? I wonder how many sales agents getting an unrealized bump in commission this quarter will think it's unfair when they're 5% under next quarter and getting termed for falling short a few quarters in a row? I wonder how many finance people are getting information they can accurately digest > qualify so they're not surprised when the annual comes up predictably short 🤔 There are enough posts about missed revenue projections on LinkedIn to suggest there's a problem > need > demand for more intelligence... The stretching required for humans to learn > grow is painful... 🤞people start writing checks to outsource the effort and the 🌎 becomes a much smarter place soon 😏

#OutsideIn This week’s inspiration comes from a TV ad – who even sees these anymore? Well, our managing partner when she’s watching TV old school style. An ad that made her look up from her phone, laugh out loud and remember 5 days later to share with the team. Weetabix and the BBH London team, take a bow. It’s brave, bold and breaks the ‘happy family mould’ for cereal ads. It hits home the truths of a long, wet British winter (when will it end?) whilst managing to avoid wading in to politics, and other incitive themes. And it’s honest, we can imagine the debates about sharing the declining sales with the masses. What can we take from this into our b2b world: ➡ Take risks: don’t be afraid to tell the story warts on all, it makes you more relatable. ➡ Really know how your competition is showing up creatively (not just messaging, but TOV, style) and dare to be different ➡ Context is everything, but find a more human way to say, ‘post pandemic, business transformation!!!!’ ➡ Humour is under used in B2B, give it a go, we all need a laugh (until the sun comes out anyway). #Weetabix #ad #b2bmarketing #humourinmarketing
