There's no excuse for not wearing one, as brands have worked hard to make helmets that are at least somewhat appealing to the teenage demographic. Second, wear some shoes. Again, it's a question of no excuse (unless you're Adam, who is the Gnarly Beagle's resident shoeless skateboarder). Shoes provide grip, and so does a grip tape that covers the top of your deck.

I would have never really thought that this idea could work on the face of it... but actually it can!
