Head of Content Strategy at Nautilus Biotechnology

When people ask me what we do at Nautilus, my high level description is something like, "We're building a platform that measures all the proteins in a biological sample because proteins drive biology, and accurately measuring them will provide deep insights into health and disease." Of course, explaining how our platform is designed to accomplish this monumental feat takes a bit more time. Thankfully, Nautilus Founder and Chief Scientist Parag Mallick came up with a great analogy using the children's game "Guess Who I Am" to describe how it all works. In the animation below, we use the "Guess Who I Am" analogy to succinctly show how the platform is designed to quantify proteins across the dynamic range of the proteome. Then, we dive a little deeper into the nuts and bolts of protein quantification. This single-molecule quantification process is very different from those used by other #proteomics platforms and we hope it will revolutionize biology by making the proteome accessible to all biologists. #biotech #proteome #biotechnology #researchanddevelopment

How does the Nautilus™ Proteome Analysis Platform enable researchers to quantify the depth and breadth of the proteome at the single-molecule level?    Believe it or not, it employs a strategy similar to one you might use in the children’s game, "Guess Who I Am.” 🕵️    Watch our new animation for a deep-dive into the technology that enables our platform to efficiently count billions of proteins, and learn more on our blog: https://lnkd.in/ge-nzEJY  #UnleashTheProteome #Proteomics #ProteomicsRevolution #SingleMolecule

Very clever tech and a nice video to boot!
