Tytus Cytowski’s Post

Back in March I was interviewed by CEE Legal Matters on my outlook on the CEE market as a U.S. lawyer working with CEE clients. A few takeaways about the entrepreneur and legal landscape: 👉 We are currently witnessing the golden years of the CEE region, particularly in the tech sector. 👉 We’re likely to see a surge in product-based companies as opposed to solely software-based ones. 👉 CEE extends to the diaspora of founders, entrepenuers with CEE roots in Silicon Valley, Tel Aviv and London. 👉 Entrepenuership has become a career path for people in CEE. 👉 CEE is no longer considered exotic; it has proven itself as a center for advanced technology, with people in Silicon Valley recognizing it as a rising star. 👉 CEE entrepreneurs discovered they could build US-style companies without being physically located in the US. 👉 US law is another product like Hollywood, Disney, and McDonalds that attracts global customers (users). 👉 CEE cannot rely on the US to protect it. CEE security is tied to economic growth and the rule of law which underpins growth. The region has to do a better job of building prosperous and vibrant societies based on the rule of law (not the rule of man).
